“I’m really impressed with these polishes. I got “Keep it a hunnit” and “Marcus Garvey.” I wore the former color for a almost a week (two coats, no topcoat) before it started to chip (and that was during an hours-long deep clean of my house). I’ve had the latter on for two days (same application) and no chips. Both colors went on beautifully. I love that it’s a medium brush—wide enough to evenly apply color with three strokes (side, side, middle) but narrow enough for precision. Finally, the bottles are beautiful and feel substantial in your palm.”

The color line is fun and different, the formula is very opaque, and I think their brushes are easy to work with. I can't speak to longevity because I haven't given them a long-wear test. “I love Breukelen Polished! I remember the first time I read about the brand which was last year in late May 2020. We were still in quarantine. I was searching for a black owned, vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic nail polish online. Also, a brand with quality colors and formula. I was blown away at how my nails looked! My first purchase was Mr. Softy and Can’t Stop Won’t Stop. I believe there’s some strengthening or growth formula because my nails grew longer after faithfully using those two polishes. Since then, I cannot stop raving about Breukelen Polished! I literally have mini collection of Breukelen Polished on my book shelf. My top favorites is Juniors, Can Stop Won’t Stop, Hurd You, Chill Son, Bread Stuy, Yerrr, and Mr. Softy. I have the other nail treatments and other colors. You will not regret treating yourself. The color pay off is impecable. Very opaque or you can build your own intensity. I get many compliments on my nails.”
“I've ordered twice from Breukelen Polish and would order again. My first order took awhile and my 2nd order is a pre-order and hasn't shipped yet. The polishes are very pigmented; opaque in one or two coats. I have Chill Son, Grimey, Bread Stuy and Luna Blues. All beautiful; the first 3 colors not necessarily super unique or at least in my collection but Luna Blue is definitely unique. It's a flattering all season blue that's not too light and not too dark. I don't like super dark blues that look black and this color is the perfect mid tone blue. Breukelen Polish is worth the patronage and if you haven't supported this black female owned business; you should!!!”
