Are the MLT 116L cartridges identical in shape to original Samsung cartridges - I bought some recently from another supplier and they are not quite the same shape and do not fit/slide in so easily Thank you, Alan

Hello Alan Thank you for your question. No, the 116L cartridge from an aftermarket supplier who has supplied you a 'compatible' will not be indentical. This is due to the fact that Samsung/HP have patents on the cartridge meaning you can't just do a straight copy. There will be very slight physical differences howeve the cartridges shuold fit into the printer without trouble. Sometimes a manufacturer may have a protective cover attached to the cartridge for protection during transit. These are normally brightly coloured and easily indentifiable. Make sure you have removed any of these covers before installing. kind regards CW
