Dear Cedric, Sorry you feel this way. The operation of testing is extremely expensive with multiple suppliers and systems underpinning it. These Day 2 tests require genomic sequencing, unlike other PCR tests, to identify any strains of concern should a customer test positive. This is a very expensive procedure and a very small part of that cost has been added to the package. This does not cover the actual real cost of the process, which is many times more than the cost each customer pays per kit. We hope you received a satisfactory service otherwise. “The test results took to long to come back my 10 day quarantine had finished by my day 8 test results hand not come back yet after 36 months and I had to do another test Not happy at all”

Dear Abdul, According to our system, your results were sent to you on Thu, Apr 29, 12:00 AM. This was on your Day 10 and was not delayed (your arrival date counts as Day 0). We do explain that results can sometimes be delayed more than 24 hours in rare cases due to delays in the mail or at the lab. We are unable to control these delays as they are out of our hands. Dear Anup, Sorry to hear your test arrived late. We dispatch according to arrival date and dispatch the Day 8 closer to the Day 8 as the Government has mandated they are dispatched separately so to avoid customers swabbing themselves early. This guidance has now changed and we can now dispatch them together. We apologise this has affected your experience. “Overall the experience was positive. Easy to register and reliable kit deliveries. Nonetheless the instructions contained in the test kit are not consistent regarding how to collect the nostril sample . They differ between the Confirm Test Kit leaflet and those presented on the EKF leaflet. This inconsistency leaves the user confused and insecure. I suggest to revise this.”

The EKF leaflet is from the manufacturer of the kit and we had tried to simplify the instructions in our booklet. “The testing kits arrived in good time and the results were provided in a timely manner. The instructions for use were clear and easy to follow. Of course, as with all such services provided in the UK at present, it's extremely expensive.”

“Test of Day 2 worked well but the stick of the swab provided was extremely difficult to split, thus putting at risk the sample. The result of test 8 was sent more than 24 hours after the sample reached the laboratory.”

“Excellent service. The two kits day 2 and day 8 arrived on time and the result emailed within the expected time. Downside, the two kits were very expensive but had no choice as there were no alternative testing”
