“I have had my fly 12 and fly 6 for a few weeks . I am impressed by the clarity and stability of the video captured by both cameras, and by how well they adapt when moving from bright light to shade. The audio recording is also surprisingly good.
I did have a small problem with my order initially, but customer service was outstanding and the mistake was fixed very efficiently.”
“Thank you for sending me the replacement bracket for my Fly6. By way of explanation, it was from the first model which relies on rubber straps and this is the second time I have replaced the rubber straps and the first time I have had to replace the whole bracket. My bikes are kept inside in what should be better conditions than many others in terms of maintaining such parts and I also have a later model that uses velco straps which are more durable. So it would be fair to say that Cyclic have sought to overcome the shortcomings of the older design and I appreciate their efforts to support those of us still using the old models. I had been slow to reach out for the replacement bracket and I suspect that the internal battery is not what it once was so whilst I would be disappointed if the replacement bracket is not available the next time I need one it might come at a time when the unit is reaching the end of its useful life. I'm a bit of a conservator of equipment I appreciate so I'm somewhat disappointed that the time may come when I have to scrap and replace what otherwise has been a cleverly designed unit due to the impracticalities of its seller keeping older spare parts for ever.”
