“My husband and I have used Staysure for years(Annual Travel Insurance)
Unfortunately my husband took critically ill and was in hospital 8weeks.
The first day I spoke with Staysure and also Jet2 .
Jet2 were exceptional they gave me the details to submit to Insurance company called Davies Group.
The situation I was in was awful as he was so very ill.
I notified as requested asked for paper version to be sent this was only because during all this our account was compromised.
Papers came in and 1 document asked for our GP to fill out form.
As husband was in hospital I gave it to the consultant as he /she knew his problem I then had an email saying this wasn't acceptable.
I said a consultant is a highly trained professional and knows exactly the issues and how he is going to be treated.
Passed from pillar to post the decision was that they would allow consultants medical form but now they wanted a no show form from Jet 2 I said this was submitted however they said they couldn't open it.
I then went back to Jet2 and girl said no problem and re Sent to me however yet again they say it won't open.
My son in law is IT expert and laughed said it was obvious to him someone didn't know how to open email.
I then had to go back to Jet 2 and tell them they just can't understand who would delay this.
During this time and up till present day I have received in total 16 emails.
One of the reasons is that they don't go to the office that spoke with you and come back saying they will respond 5/7 days meanwhile you send more relevant info and it gets added on and on.
I have never ever had issues like this with any business and probably because never claimed holiday insurance that's the reason to truthful.
I call emails to me nothing short of being harassment.
I would like you to refund only whats due after all its 1 weeks holiday which should have been in Greece .”
