“I had never heard of this company, until my wife had to make a claim, due to water damage to a house. There are many companies within the group, but the one I am dealing with is a claims management company who act on behalf of Ageas Insurance Ltd. I have found them to be very inefficient, with very poor communications, long delays, failures to comply with the DSAR request timeously, information not forthcoming, established lies and incorrect facts in the 1st loss adjusters report, phone calls edited, basically everything to ensure their client doesn’t have to pay out on an legitimate honest claim. Initially they indicated they would pay out, but then took months to officially state in writing they wouldn’t. Meanwhile the damage to the property had got worse and more costly! I have taken the case to the FOS. It seems to me Ageas Insurance Ltd take your money and use The Davies Group to assist them in not paying out when a genuine claim is used. I have no doubt by using them they hope the claimant will just give up due to the stress, time required etc. This has been going on for nearly a year and I can only advise to not ever use Ageas Insurance Ltd and the Davies Group, as they will do everything NOT TO PAY. AT ALL COSTS AVOID.”
