“I spoke with a really helpful lady on the phone who answered all my questions as I am a not really a horse person, this is a present for my daughter. She sorted everything including the price query i had. The item arrived as described and on time. So good service all round Thank you.”
“Excellent service. The boots I ordered appeared in good time and were fine boots. Unfortunately they were rather more efficiently lined than was needed for the hot weather riding safari for which they were intended so I have now returned them (and ordered others from the same source)”
“Ordered in good faith as a first time customer and the items despatched as expected. However, the courier (Parcelforce) proved disappointing and delayed the delivery by 3 days due to being 'busy'.
I contacted Discount Equestrian by telephone after the second delayed delivery day, and left a message as instructed on their answerphone. One week later and no acknowledgement let alone contact from them, so I sent an email to their address highlighting the issues with delivery and also the lack of customer service. Five days on and still no contact.
Clearly Discount Equestrian's view of customer service is different to the real world. I am just glad my items when they eventually arrived were of satisfactory quality and didnt need returning or replacing, otherwise I dread to think how difficult resolution could be.

“Boots arrrived well. It was a long lead item that took a bit more than originally estimated but it wasn't bad. The surprise was that the shipping was calculated at the time of shipping and it ended up being considerably more than what was estimated in the original purchase weeks before. Shipping could have been better estimated at the time of purchase to avoid this situation.”

“I've ordered from discount equestrian several times and they are as the name suggests slightly less expensive than other retailers and their products come quickly and always with appropriate packaging.
However the website listed some things in my basket as quantity 2 and some as the same item listed separately twice resulting in me accidentally ordering one product twice. I meant to order the item in two different colours as a result I now have it twice in the same colour and am not sure if its cost effective to return it so may not bother. This was my fault I should have checked the products I ordered more carefully but the website made it more difficult to do so”
