“Straight forward car rental, no hidden costs, no pushing for extra insurances or services. Got an Hyundai I30 with 17k on the clock, totally clean in- and outside. We went to Montenegro (Budva, Durmitor region). Only the price which you pay to pass the border is not fair. Should be way lower, think the car companies made mutual agreements on this to get more money from tourists. Best option is to buy one at the border (green card), way cheaper than fixing this trough a car company..”

“Good customer service. The price was very competitive and they didn't try to sell us more insurance like alot of hire companies. Dropped us back at the airport after we dropped the car off. Would have been nice to be picked up at the airport instead of having to walk a few hundred yards with our luggage.”

“The best value for money car hire, with fair policy, that I could find on the internet. The people were friendly and efficient and, unlike may other hirers, didn't try to fob me off with extra insurance - this is a major rip-off problem with car hire companies. I've felt conned and even threatened in the past - like a latter day highway robbery. The team at Avia (Zadar) were like a breath of fresh air - very friendly and efficient. Just a very minor problem of queueing to return the car, especially as we were a little bit late returning and knowing that getting through airport security is a pain. However, the staff were so, so helpful and understanding - they were absolutely brilliant at Zadar - they're a credit to the company. If driving around, or to, your holiday destination is a must, then driving across Croatia is recommended. It's a fabulous country, very clean, great roads and friendly people. Plus, I'd definitely recommend Avia to hire your car to do it. If you, like me, have had car hire hassles in the past, which always get your holiday off to a bad start, then I highly recommend this outfit. Friendly, efficient staff that don't try to mug you out of more 'insurance'. We travelled from Zadar to our villa in Istria - a 3 - 4 hour drive, which was a pleasure. The roads and scenery are great, which makes for a pleasurable journey. We'll definitely be going back.”
