Hi Grita, thank you for your 4* review and we are delighted our data eSIM worked for you!
You are correct, our eSIM is not for traditional calls or SMS but you can send calls and messages using apps like WhatsApp and Facetime as these use data. I hope that helps and we would love to see you onboard again soon. Please get in touch if you have any other questions. Safe travels, Jim - easySim.
“Was very easy to setup and having data while exploring a city we didn't know and not worrying about the cost was a god send. Would definitely use again”
“Simplest transaction ever! You choose your plan. Pay for it. Get clear step by step instructions via email on how to set up the sim specifically on your device type. I’ve since used another eSIM provider and easySIM was a far better experience! Thoroughly recommend.”
“It was a super cheap and easy way to get data coverage when on holiday in Argentina with lots of travelling around outside WiFi coverage and no data roaming with my phone package. When I had trouble activating it (I had missed one step in the instructions) the support team responded immediately to my emails and helped me get started straight away. Highly recommend.”
“Really easy to use to access internet while abroad. I was not sure how to use it to receive texts or phone calls which caused some difficulties, so need to research this for next time I am abroad.”
Hi Amanda, thank you for your review and we are delighted our eSIM worked for you.
For future reference, our eSIMs are data only and not designed for traditional phone calls and SMS. However, you can make calls and send messages on apps like Facetime and WhatsApp as these use data.
If you need to make calls using your mobile/cellular number, you can select your Primary SIM for calls and SMS but your home mobile network provider may charge you for calls and SMS while roaming - so, we recommend you switch it off while travelling.
I hope that helps and we hope to see you on board again soon!
Safe travels,
Jim - easySim
