“Did not work I tried to get it working several times but it never worked”

Hi Samuel, thank you for your review and I am disappointed you did not have a great experience. I have checked our support platform and I cannot see a help request from you which is a shame. It is really 'easy' to ask for help - just tap 'Chat with an Expert' in our Help Centre for the fastest response to any enquiry. I am sure we would have resolved any issue you were having. I can also see that you did use some of your data so I can only assume your eSIM did work. I am going to contact you offline to find out more. Save travels, Jim.

You are correct, our eSIM is not for traditional calls or SMS but you can send calls and messages using apps like WhatsApp and Facetime as these use data. “Simplest transaction ever! You choose your plan. Pay for it. Get clear step by step instructions via email on how to set up the sim specifically on your device type. I’ve since used another eSIM provider and easySIM was a far better experience! Thoroughly recommend.”

“It was a super cheap and easy way to get data coverage when on holiday in Argentina with lots of travelling around outside WiFi coverage and no data roaming with my phone package. When I had trouble activating it (I had missed one step in the instructions) the support team responded immediately to my emails and helped me get started straight away. Highly recommend.”

“Really easy to use to access internet while abroad. I was not sure how to use it to receive texts or phone calls which caused some difficulties, so need to research this for next time I am abroad.”

Hi Amanda, thank you for your review and we are delighted our eSIM worked for you. For future reference, our eSIMs are data only and not designed for traditional phone calls and SMS. However, you can make calls and send messages on apps like Facetime and WhatsApp as these use data. If you need to make calls using your mobile/cellular number, you can select your Primary SIM for calls and SMS but your home mobile network provider may charge you for calls and SMS while roaming - so, we recommend you switch it off while travelling.
