easySim provides low-cost, prepaid travel eSIMs, which will cut the cost of using your mobile phone when you travel abroad in over 150 countries. No more dodgy WiFi or messing around with fiddly sim cards.
“easySim was really simple tp set up and very reasonably priced. The coverage we had was great and we were able to access services as soon as we arrived.”
“Good price, outstanding support service. I would have given five out of five stars, but unfortunately, it was too easy to not get the thing fully activated. We didn't realize for a few days. When we emailed support, we got a reply within hours, and realized we had failed to change one setting. Instructions need to be crystal clear, for some of us newbies. Coverage was great, and both Europe and UK.”
“It was very cost effective and easy to set up this sim card. Used twice now for the USA and Morocco. The best bit is that it just stays in my phone and updates to each country.”
Hi Caroline,
Thank you for your review and I can see you used your data bundle so I am delighted our data eSIM worked for you. I have checked our support platform and I cannot see any help requests from you which is a shame. We would have explained that our eSIM is data only and not designed for traditional calls and SMS but you can make and receive calls using apps like WhatsApp and Facetime as these use data.
If you need to make or receive calls using your mobile/cellular number, you can leave your Primary (home) SIM selected for calls and SMS but your home network provider may charge you for calls and SMS while roaming.
I would like to offer you a test eSIM for your home location so we can show you how to do the above. I will contact you offline.
Safe travels,
Jim
“First time I've used an e-sim and wasn't sure what to expect. Could not have been easier. £10 for a months use in USA compared to £9/day with my usual provider. Whole process was so easy and efficient. I shall be a regular customer from now on 👍”
“Very easy to set up, worked flawlessly in 6 European countries we visited. Only once did we get LTE instead of 5 G, but for the most part it was always 5G service. I would not hesitate to recommend or use this service again.”
Dear Andy, thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We truly appreciate your effort in letting us know about your experience.
Firstly, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you faced with our service. We understand the frustration and disappointment of unexpectedly receiving a high bill from your network provider for data usage abroad. This is certainly not the experience we want our customers to have - after all, avoiding bill shock is the reason for our existence!
We have thousands of customers using our service in Turkey, so we know there will be an issue with the settings on your phone. We would very much like to avoid this happening again to you, so I would like to give you a data bundle that will work in your home location, then give you some 1-2-1 training on using eSIMs. I will connect with you directly to arrange a time convenient for you.
Once again, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are committed to enhancing our services to ensure a seamless and hassle-free experience for our customers.
We look forward to hearing from you soon and working towards making things better.
“Installation and setup was very easy. Switching the iphone over to use that sim for data was also straight forward. Getting the sim to pop up with signal in central London and then in central Paris appeared to be be spotty which might be due to our locations and or cell tower locations. So, we also needed to rely heavily on hotel wireless to make it all work seamlessly.”
