easySim provides low-cost, prepaid travel eSIMs, which will cut the cost of using your mobile phone when you travel abroad in over 150 countries. No more dodgy WiFi or messing around with fiddly sim cards.
“I purchased a package primarily for Argentina, but also travelled through Sweden, Uruguay and USA. My single easySim package worked perfectly in all destinations. Actually my first experience with an eSim, and will be using easySim again whenever its available in my destinations.”
“My reason for buying one was to 'road test' an eSIM in the EU (where I would normally get free roaming woth my mobile provider in the UK) prior to a long trip to Canada later in the year where I will be 100% dependant on one.
Easy purchase and delivery of the QR code was very quick. Installation onto my phone was straightforward. However, what are you supposed to do if you don't have a second device with a screen on to view the email? I was OK on this occasion as did the install before leaving home via another computer screen. My eSIM installation (on an Androd phone) allows you to skip past the scanning function and install via a code supplied by the operator either starting 1$ or LPA:1$ However neither of these are supplied by easySim. So this may be worth looking into.
Going through the activation of the eSIM and setting your physical SIM to no longer be the default was a bit fiddly. Finally got it to work and after that, it was uninterupted data roaming - often at 5G and moving from one EU country to another was seemless.
Got a couple of notications from easySim to say I has half of my quota used and nearly used up the data.
So overall an good experience.”
Hi Philip, thank you for your comprehensive review and we are delighted you had a good experience overall.
Regarding the manual installation, if you sign in to my.easysim.global and tap 'eSIM', we do supply the activation code and smdp address. It is only Android that require the 1$ prefix and $ prefix and we make that clear in our manual installation instructions for Android and Samsung:

I hope that helps and we look forward to seeing you onboard for your trip to Canada!
Safe travels,

“EasySim was good, but we thought our initial purchase for Singapore would be fine for Vietnam and Malaysia. This was not the case and we had to buy further data for Malaysia, which means we still have lots of data left on our Singapore sim x”
“I love the e sims now available on line to use travelling. Easysim was particularly easy and I felt comfortable with a brand I recognised. I chose cheep option of 1gb on country I was in first but that ran out abot 2,/3 through tbe week . So I liked the option where I could but some that covered many countries so I was good for the end of shilanka trip and then few days in doha. Mind you . I ran out again. So I don't think that 1gb is enough. I am not a big user it was more for maps away from hotels and online hotel searches but 1gb seamed not to last more than 3 or 4 days. . I did use there customer service on email. They were very helpful. Overall I would recommend.”
