“Delivered in time by helpful drivers, looks pretty solid and welll packed. Currently in the process of painting the wood with a brush - after experianing this, I recommend getting a spray gun to do it.”

I emailed Elbec to enquire about a potential delivery date and they responded very quickly.
They explained the lead time, giving me an idea of when we might expect delivery. A few days later I got confirmation of the actual delivery date.

I recently purchased from you a 8x 12 garden shed.
It arrived on time and undamaged.
When we had it half erected, we became very concerned about the structure - the timbers were very thin and the panels appeared to be of fencing panel standard. When the structure was complete ( constructed by a professional) it was very unstable, in that the walls flexed and the floor was "spongy"
It appeared that the roof was poorly supported and very likely to sag.
To correct the problems we have decided to line it with plasterboard to stiffen up the structure, at a cost close to the original cost. We assumed that you would not accept a return with associated costs!
You are very welcome to view the shed, but assume that you will be aware of thes shortfalls.
I look forward to an offer of significant compensation.

“A good design flawed by “built to a budget”. The first trellis was twisted but replaced without quibble. It would have really helped if screw holes
were pre-drilled to avoid error (mine). However, it’s up and looks good. I just hope it lasts a few years, and by a few, I mean many.”
“We asked for compensation for the trouble that it caused us recieving damaged goods, having to return them and waiting for a repeat delivery. Elbec accused the warehouse of packing goods poorly ,and the warehouse said our contract of sale was with Elbec so take it up with them! Hence we got nowhere!”
“My joiner had to spend a lot of time correcting the frame, locks, doors etc. it’s ok now it’s finished but don’t expect it to look like the pictures. Had to purchase extra strengthening timbers to support the roof. The metal brackets didn’t even hold the weight of the roof.”
“Incorrect boxes sent, when reported not true apology offered or compensation. Second delivery a week later was only for collection had to wait longer for correct items to be delivered. Simply referred to courier or supplier elbec did not appear interested in resolving but simply passing on the issue.”
