“The customer service I received from elbec was excellent. They responded promptly to a query I had and were very helpful when I spoke with them on the phone.”
“We recently purchased a Shire 8x6 wooden greenhouse from Elbec. Initially the customer service was great. Regular updates and delivery on time. However, it then started to go down hill.
1. Parts missing including both automatic window openers.
2. Paint job (which we paid a considerable amount extra for), had a lot of drips in places.
3. Window openers leak.
4. Wooden benches (again which we paid extra for), held together with a single nail in each leg and very rough sawn timber.
Customer service kept on blaming the manufacturer even though they Elbec were the supplier. They wouldn't offer any kind of gesture of goodwill for the poor paint finish apart from a free additional bench (which we didn't want) and which, when it arrived, hadn't been painted.
I could go on, but it is a shame that after spending over £1500 (it would be £1700 if we were to purchase today), the experience has turned quite sour. The greenhouse is still leaking too.”
“Although the shed seems strong the a few struts were damaged/broken, a few slats not nailed correctly and slats broken and we had to cut the door down as it didnt fit”
“Straightforward ordering process. Delivery was good using their excellent tracking service. Delivery driver was courteous and obliging. Havent constructed the log store yet so can't comment on that.”
“Really helpful and easy order . Fast delivery over the Xmas period .
Was only short of a couple of small plastic pieces that held the polycarbonate window in .
Didn’t stop the build and was easy to order and again quick delivery. Plus had extra sent out as spares .”
“In summary, it isn't a well made product. Despit all manner of trying, both doors don't line up which is frankly annoying and the felt roof is like paper and very cheap.”

“I ordered a lean to gazebo but when it was delivered realised I’d been an idiot when measuring and it wouldn’t fit in my garden. Contacted Elbec, expecting to quite rightly be told it was my error and I could not have a refund but they were fantastic and along with the manufacturer, Palram, they arranged for a free courier collection and a full refund. Will be looking at their products again once I’ve got a responsible adult to do the measuring!”

“Timber used seems on the thin side especially floor tongue and groove considering the cost of over 1,000 pounds I would have expected quality of floor board also many nails not even hit the beams guy on gun needs re training not assembly yet but this is on inspection however Ian the delivery guy credit to the company”
