“The shed was delivered on time and as expected. However the handover was a bit brief and it wasn't exactly clear where the instructions were, it turned out these were hidden between a couple of panels which I eventually found but not before calling and being emailed them in PDF format. The shed seems reasonable, time will tell how long it lasts, however a couple of the timbers were broken due to having huge knots in, so I had to clamp and glue these prior to install, also one of the door stops was not cut to the right size but fortunately it was oversize so I was able to cut it down to fit. Maybe quality control is lacking here. You have to drill a lot of holes yourself, presumably this is to keep costs down, and you also have to weather treat the timber to qualify for the ten year warranty. It took two of us about three days to put up. The installation manual was poorly photocopied, so much so that important instructions were missing. I had to print out my own instructions because of this (about fifteen sheets of A4 double sided). Even then the instructions didn't seem to fit the page on the printout very well so I had to refer to both sets which was annoying. Please provide a properly printed instruction manual! Finally the roof tacks are too short, mostly they work alright but when you fold the asphalt at the corners and nail it, the tacks just pop out. Either they should provide about a ¼ longer tacks or at least a few longer ones for folds etc.”

“Although covering 10 pages, the assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. Main assembly undertaken on my own utilising clamps completed in 2 days. Three trim items missing but supplied by Mercia within 2 days. Only criticism was the flexing of tongue and groove flooring but strengthened with 18mm marine ply panels. Excellent value for money purchase. Very pleased.”

“Summer house is great. Lorry broke down on delivery day but I was kept informed. Initially disappointed that next available delivery was 2days as it was the day my son in law planned an early sart to erect it. It was explained that the deliveries for the following day were already loaded on the lorries so they couldn't deliver sooner but the deliveries for the missed customers would being all completed by mid morning. I was very pleased therefore that my delivery arrived just after 8am. Breakdowns are unpredictable but I felt they did their best to minimise inconvenience”

“Delivery was on time & driver was very helpful. Let down by the fact there are screws missing, the bolt is partially rusted & bent, also one of the cover strips is incomplete due to knots in the wood have fallen out. This is very inconvenient & should have been quality checked before delivery. Just to add I wouldn’t recommend this company since customer service is very poor and quality control is even worse !!!! Sent me a rusted pad bolt on first delivery and the replacement is even worse ???did anybody even check this before it was sent to me ??? What a let down DISGUSTED!!! Oh just to add nearly 2weeks for 1 thin length of wood, 1 pad bolt & 2 screws. Give a wide birth if you are reading this”
“Ordered Sunday delivered Fri direct from the manufacturer,kept informed at every juncture,summer house is as advertised came in sections with reasonably easy to follow instructions and came with all the fixings necessary to build it,happy with the quality for the price, spent a week painting it giving it 3 coats inside and out before building it which will hopefully preserve it for a good few years, looking forward to getting some use out of it now”

“Delivery quick and well done. Self assembly is fairly hard and you need to have most woodwork tools to complete the job. It would be really helpful if the window frames could come with the hinge insert already chiselled in as this was a bit tricky. The house itself looks fantastic and my daughter is thrilled with it. “Shed delivery was on time and the delivery guy carried it to the rear garden. The shed, despite being a budget model, fitted together well and all the parts were present. My only two comments are 1) that the base seems too thin and bends when you walk on it which is a bit of a concern and 2) the instructions could have been a bit clearer. I am used to erecting sheds but if it was my first time I may have struggled.”
