“Very bad customer service!
Waited in all day & night where tracking said it was arriving until midnight. Nothing arrived!
No calls from driver or customer service that day or the next!
Many calls made to them to be told its on a 2 day delivery and cant get hold of the driver!
Our email does not state a 2 day delivery in any form!!!
Plus the driver said he let the team know and the team said the driver should let the customer know!!
Also we had a family member take the day off to help receive and move item.
Appalling service!! We would like the delivery charge refunded.”
“The design looks good, but the construction is not fit for purpose and very badly manufactured.
See photos. The bottom is too flimsey to hold soil so had to add better support. Whoever stapeled this together has no idea of accuracy or pride in the work (I kept the labels if you would like them). I had to take many pieces apart to straighten in order for the pieces to fit.”
“Ok, they followed up very well when I had a problem. Was told at first that delivery would be 3/4 weeks and then received within 10 days. Suspect a bit of confusion in their office.”
“Item arrived in one piece but the screws were not included. I emailed about screws and they were sent to me. Item good value for money as wooden pergolas can cost a lot. Happy”
“The product supplied was not joined/cut well - lots of 5/10cm chips from the wood, cuts made at one length, stopped then re-cut at a longer length, leaving missing areas of wood.
Half of the doors were bent out of shape, so fit at the bottom, but not at the top.
Instructions were good, fixtures and fittings ok.
Not worth the price it’s sold at.”
“This little shed is the perfect size for my small garden. I can fit the lawn mower and the garden fork, spade, hoe, rake etc in there too. The construction was easy enough for me and my daughter to do. The shed went together nicely following the instructions. The only problem was the 2.5 screws were missing but I had some in my toolkit so we got by.”

Arrived damaged - split boards and marked sides.
Arrived unglazed - no mention of customer having to fit glass and beading.
Felt arrived as a roll and not 3 pre-cut sheets see A2555 x 3 in the instruction leaflet - see pages 6 & 16
Open knot holes in sides - poor overall quality.
Locking bar for both shed door knobs not drilled at right angle - so have had to re-drill hole to take the Locking Pin.”
“THE BUILDING LOOKS GOOD, CAME PROMPTLY AND DRIVER VERY HELPFUL. EASY TO ASSEMBLE
ORDERED 6 X 4 WAS DISSAPPOINTED IT CAME AS 6 X 3'6. I REALLY NEEDED THE FULL 4' WIDTH. NOW NOT SURE IF I CAN USE IT FOR THR ORIGINAL PURPOSE, DON'T KNOW WHY IT CAME AS 3'6"?
WOULD STILL BE HAPPY TO RECCOMMEND 'ELBEC GARDEN BUILDINGS' JUST BE MORE VIGILANT ON YOU SIZES”
“Delivery was on time and product quality very good.
Pergola built today by carpenter and only difficulty he experienced was size of uprights which were in between sizes of metal spikes he had bought to fix into ground. To avoid puutting some packing in larger size which he felt might cause posts to move in time, he changed to smaller size spike and shaved down bottom of posts to fit tightly.”
