I was dubious about purchasing a four foot by three foot greenhouse, my garden has many sections and is on many levels so I had to opt for a small greenhouse but I also wanted it in keeping with my house and existing garden. I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived and I started to assemble it, the quality is very good, very clear instructions and once it was painted it fitted into the garden and scheme like it was always meant to be there. Very, VERY happy !”

“Very happy with our summerhouse order from Elbec Garden Buildings. It was a Shire Hampton 8’ x 8’ was as we expected and very pleased with how it sits in its corner position. Delivery was on time and a smooth unloading - delivery driver was extremely helpful. We took the advice available on the website regarding Protek paint. Glad we used that as it had great coverage on the wood and gives more reassurance that the summerhouse will be protected more from the elements.”
“Purchased a pent roof potting shed, Very happy with it in terms of Delivery, Quality and missing roof felt was delivered withing 2 days (very good). On the downside (hence my rating) the door to the potting shed means you have to duck to get in and the roof is very low, I have fixed that myself by adding some extra rafters to raise it a couple inches but I am under 6ft so would imagine a number of people would find the roof very low. I have not complained as I am sure the measurements on the site had I looked at them would have told me this. Final complaint one side panel was slightly taller than the other one which worried me but the design allows for this so not a big issue. Last positive comment I was able to assemble this shed all by myself with no assistance.”
“Regarding elbec - great service! However a couple of things regarding the shire summerhouse were a little disappointing - these being: the shiplap on all panels didn't line up - most noticeable on the window panel; the door latch could have been better. All looks fine now though - just need live with it! Other than these minor issues the remainder and quality is fine.”

“The quality of the shed is good but the delivery was poor. Having booked a day off work the delivery did not occur due to a “broken down vehicle” in this day and age that always seems suspicious to me. We were going away that weekend so could not take delivery that weekend especially as we were told it was upon us if we were not there. Therefore it was going to be arranged for a future date. To our horror we had an email the very next day informing us the delivery that morning. We were away with no chance to rearrange so unfortunately had to come back from our break as the shed was left on our drive. Not the service that we expected”
