The market is flooded with synthetic and albeit sometimes nice smelling (OFG, TF Oud Wood) Oud, it pales in comparison to organic Oud that EO meticulously, masterfully and passionately crafts. Definitely recommend this special artisanal house for anyone that’s a noobie wanting to explore the world of Oud. EO’s Oud is not just a scent you wear, it’s an experience.”

“Fantastic! I really love the Oud Yaqoub. A bit mediciney, minty and confection-like all in a very pleasing way and long lasting. I have yet to get into the Hindi Hara but it smells real good, a bit different from the Ruh Khus I previously ordered from the firm in Australia. I tried a wee bit of the Oud Yusuf sample but I probably will need another good swipe to get a better feel for it. It was a wee bit skanky and campfor-like at the very beginning but immediately became very likeable. After a few days I'll give it another good swipe as I need to try it by itself. I have yet to try the other samples but they smell wonderful.”

Thank you for the ethereal Oud Yusef! Reading the reviews however spectacular had me worried it was to be to feminine of a scent. My fears are now a thing of the past. This oud is a thing of continuously evolving beauty. Not meek nor overly agressive it deserves its place in the pantheon of the Ensar Oud miracles. It is a very personal Oud indeed. I shall borrow from the many wonderful reviews I have read concerning scent notes as my nose is not as evolved as some. First swipe was camphor, medicinal, narcotic, slight bourbon whiskey. I wondered how these initial impressions could give way to lilac and berry but they soon did....White flowers, jasmine, honeysuckle as the sweetness came in....then autumnal spices were noticed, but not any one of them specifically and not exactly the sum of them all. It was a spiciness unto itself and never quite experienced before. Pepperiness, red jam, dusty garden shed after the rain, ethereal florals. Dried figs, which remind me of your Oud Idrees which i still treasure. ....Definitely fine dried apricots.....frankincense and myrrh. By now I have an actual buzz. Woodiness....buttery leather. It is cooling on my skin. Slight cherry licorice is there. Lilliac and jasmine return. This oud is mind altering. It is activating neuro transmitters not active previously. The medicinal camphor reasserts itself...No sweetness ever completely predominates...for with oud always a yang to compliment the yin. 4 hours later this oud is still evolving. I can sense the eventual powdery dryness of its finish, but currently it's bathing me in an all pervasive cocoon of temple incense and Purple Kinam. *scent remained into the next day. I feel blessed to be able to experience Oud Yusef. From now on I will eschew any and all frivolous purchases in my life except for your oud, for it is an investment in the self.

What plays in Ensar Oud's hands is its connection to the zawiya in Jordan, it is this connection which makes me believe that an oil is 20/30 plus years old just because EO says it, Blind faith.
You Order,(DHL package always arrives on time, if not earlier)one swipe of the oils and you'll instantly notice the difference - The feel and the fragrance. I say feel because most perfume houses use chemicals to thicken their oils but not this one.
Fragrance is subjective to all and there isnt a right or wrong fragrance but Ive tried a lot of oils from EO after trying other houses and I can certainly say, its not just blind faith which makes me keep buying from EO!”
