“I'm not very good at explaining the small nuances that delicate fragrances have, but I've been overwhelmed with the magic that these little bottles contain. I've never been able to purchase the big names, but I have a lot of the mid priced attars and ouds which are fantastic and I'm totally absorbed by them. Ouds can take a while to understand as they are so different from perfumes and other essential oils. It usually takes some time to come to appreciate the complexity in richness in ouds, which contain over 300 compounds (most other essential oils only have a few dozen).

“I’ve received four of your extremely limited offerings including Hailam Ltd, Yu Nan, Ya Chuan and and Malayu. Unfortunately about three months ago, before they came out with Omicron, I had a mild case of Covid. I thought I had a middling cold and didn’t think I had Covid until I realized that I could smell nothing at all. That’s when I got myself tested. Now, months later, I have a sense of smell again, but much diminished from before. The only one I’ve tried of the rarities I purchased is Hailam Ltd. The kinam note, even with my dulled sense, is biting and instantly clear. Maybe it’s as strong as, or even better than the kinam in Nha Trang Ltd, which makes Hailam Ltd. very, very good and rare indeed. Since Covid kicked me in the nose its the first thing I’ve smelled that wasn’t wooly to me. However, sinceI can’t detect the auxiliary notes or any subtleties I haven’t opened any of the others. I hope that in the next few months my sense of smell will recover to the point that it makes sense to try them.”

I posted a negative comment on Facebook calling Ensars products a bunch of hype and what he was REALLY selling was the beautiful descriptions he writes of his products.
