“Once you get past the less than stellar , frustrating setup instructions, the quality and look of the Oxford model of Get Laid Beds is top notch. The setup instructions can use a bit of tweaking for better clarity and ease of setting up.”

“I love the solid wood feature. It is truly almost impossible to find a solid bed in furniture stores. 4 stars because some of the pieces did not fit and had to be trimmed to size. For a $1000 bed with predrilled holes this was disappointing and time consuming.”

“I ordered 3 beds. The wood is beautiful, and once together the beds are very nice. The attention to detail is sloppy. Some pieces of wood are smoother than others, wrong directions sent, routed areas are not cleaned out, felt pads attached to some legs and missing on others, pilot holes drilled too big for the screws sent.”

“Very happy with my purchase. Assembly was far easier than I thought it would be, although I wish that there was some sort of label on the wood panels that I could reference in the assembly doc, such as a small sticker. I was really glad that the bed arrived early, though I do wish I was notified that the bed would arrive in three separate shipments.”

“The accompanying shelf to our frame doesn’t work well because the cross slats are too high up. The fin under the shelf doesn’t slide far enough to give good support and afraid it may damage bed frame.”

“Oxford Bed arrived ahead of schedule. Instructions were clear, parts well labeled. I assembled it in 1 evening. Excellent quality solid wood bed for the money; I would buy another one if I needed another bed. Cheers, Jim”

“Like our new bed. Took us a couple of hours to put together. Solid frame. Was scheduled to arrive early but we were able to change the date to a day when we would be home to accept the delivery. What we did not realize is that you cannot disassemble the bed to move. So it looks like it will be in one room for a while.”

“Nice sturdy and quiet bed. It was easy to assemble, all pieces had numbering and the instructions manual is easy to follow. We had tried the bed for some weeks now and we're very happy with it. The side tables are very useful and space efficient.”

“Staff are great to work with and they make sure your order is correct. It looks beautiful! There are alot of screws to put it together. It is sturdy, but it will be difficult to move since all screws will have to be removed to take it apart.”

“Excellent customer service and ahead-of-schedule delivery to U.S. My complaint is that all nine slats were a quarter to half an inch too wide, so had to be cut (thankfully we have a stationary circular saw), then drilled before fastening screws.”

“The bed is good quality. It was NOT easy to put together and mine did not have labels as described in the instruction book. It took 3 people. Other bigger and more complicated flat pack beds I’ve put together could be accomplished with 2 people. The banging with a mallet required was part of the problem. The black wash is lighter than I thought, it is almost a dark brown. But I do really love the way it looks and I would recommend.”
