“Worst purchasing experience ever. I understand there were various delays due to Covid but Glacier Hobbies NEVER sent me any emails or notifications about the delays or changes in shipping. Once I finally found out on my own after waiting over two years, I emailed multiple times and never got any response. I reached out via Instagram as well and had been told, “it shouldn’t be much longer, we are just waiting on the second shipment of delayed orders” and another 10 weeks goes by without anymore word. So, I reached out again on social media, stating it had been over two years and only after the comment got attention from others did they agree to FINALLY send me my stupid package.”

We apologize for the bad experience you had with us. The delays were posted on our website for over a year as well as on our social media. As of currently we don't do individual email notifications since almost all items were delayed due to Covid and distributor negligence.
As for preorders, it is our policy to not ship out preorders until all the preorders are ready. We sent out your order before all the preorders were ready as a courtesy, unfortunately it is not something we can do for everyone and will not do again in the future.
We've been working hard with various distributors to get the delays situation fixed. It is only this month that we started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for your patience.

Your order was fulfilled on 04/14/23 and is expected to arrive tomorrow on 04/20/23 according to the tracking.
We apologize for the delay with the order. The industry, especially US based stores are heavily delayed due to a distribution in the US causing problems. We are trying our best to work with them as well as sourcing from international distributions to lessen the delays.
Any preorders made with us will eventually get fulfilled, its just due to delays out of our control that we are unable to fulfill all orders at the moment. As we course correct this year, future orders will not be subjected to the same delays.

“While my order was delayed, this was due to Covid 19 and the shipping companies, not the store. The Osoba Mask figure I ordered arrived in perfect shape. Most importantly, Glacier Hobbies answered back any emails I sent requesting the status of my order, even willing to work with me to change my mailing address if I ended up moving before the figure arrived. Pretty great independent company and kept the lines of communication open.”

“Placed an order for multiple items, so a decently sized box - took a week to get here from the time the order was placed, so fairly normal shipping.
A couple of the boxes for the items I ordered were a little smushed, the stuff inside appears to be perfectly fine on initial inspection. This isn't something I really care about personally for model kits, but I know some people do and it might be a bigger deal with figures and MIB collectors. Oddly enough, the items were packed pretty well, so I'm not sure if the damage occurred prior to shipping or during shipping.
Finally, if you go to, "shipping policy", on their site, it still shows free shipping for orders of $200. I brought this to their attention, but apparently it still has not been corrected (it's $300, not $200). Would be nice if they took the time to actually update that.
All in all, it was a rather positive experience. I wouldn't have any issue ordering from them in the future.”
