“I installed Grip Studs on my pit bike timbersled that we use for bombing around camp in Northern Maine. It made the bike hook up much better on the lake and icy parts of the trails close to camp. I have been very impressed with your products!”

“I can tell you that I'm an aggressive trail rider that's probably 80% trail and 20% off trail here in Michigan. After 1200 miles these studs have endured rock, sand, constant road crossings and hitting logs under heavy throttle and as far as I know they are still in near mint condition. They were easy to install, especially with your install tool. I'm super happy with them. I do need to get more from you guys as I only filled the premolded holes in the center of my track. “Excellent product. Helped our skid steer with chains run better on ice and packed snow while plowing and snow blowing. Far better traction than just chains. Easy to install but buy 2 installation/extraction tools if you plan to remove for summer because the tools can wear and also if you miss placed the tool over winter. Trial and error revealed the importance of not installing studs deeper than tool slots showing otherwise there is less grip and extraction, normally easy, will become difficult.”

“I purchased Grip Studs 3000A (Medium 3.5mm protrusion) from Grip Studs with carbide tips 3 years ago when I noticed them on eBay. I put them in the soles of my Bogs winter mid-calf boots for dedicated wear to snow blow the driveway, walk the dog or take the recycling down the icy driveway in the winter. They have performed admirably and I can say that I have not slipped once. With moderate wear in 3 winters, the carbide tips now show moderate wear, but all studs in place. I just re-ordered a set of Aggressive studs (4.4mm protrusion) as they are now available from Grip Studs website and sound even more suitable to Minnesota's icy driveways and walkways than the Medium Grip Studs.”

It is ideal to have an additional tool handy as they are a consumable product. A couple methods to pro-longing the life of the installation tools, is to never use an impact driver, and clear the broaches of any debris upon removal of the studs. The debris will not allow the tool prongs to fully engage the stud and will eventually wear down.

“Was having a problem placing an order. Sent an e-mail. Got a call from Byran right away. He placed the order without a problem. In a few days, I had the order. The Juneau Nordic Ski Club has two CA Ams on tracks. Have Grip Studs in the tracks. Getting a new Ca Am so ordered Grip Studs of it. Great service, Thanks”
