About grow urban:

We are a friendly plant shop and garden store with two shops in Edinburgh and a delivery area that reaches most homes in the UK.

Our business was formed in April 2019 and our team of Plant Gurus are here to help offer advice and friendly customer service to Plant Lovers far and wide. We specialise in indoor plants but also offer a selection of outdoor plants and tools for the urban gardener.

If you're lucky enough to live close to one of our shops or will be visiting Edinburgh, you can also sit amongst the plants enjoying coffee and cake - yep, there's cafes in both of our shops! “I purchased a plant and pot online as a gift for a friend. My friend was delighted with the beautiful plant. However she advised that the plant didn’t fit the pot that has been sent. A bit embarrassing as it was meant to be a complete gift and my friend is housebound following an op!”

Hi Lesley, Thanks so much for your recent order with us and so sorry the pot you ordered didn't fit the plant. The plant you ordered 'Calathea White Fusion' is in a 14cm plastic pot so we write in the product description that we recommend ordering 16cm decorative pot for this plant. We also include our recommended 16cm pots to order with it on the same product page, but I notice that you ordered a 14cm pot which would be too small unfortunately. I'm afraid we cannot check each individual item for fit and we do try and make it as clear as possible on the product page which pot to order but we will look more closely into this and see if we can make it clearer in future but we really do appreciate you ordering with us and I hope your friend enjoys the plant nonetheless. “My plant arrived really quickly in perfect condition. It came in a hanging pot too which I wasn’t expecting. It’s absolutely huge, you never know what is coming when ordering online but this exceeded my expectations. Plant has settled in nicely :)”

“Nice, healthy little plants. They look like the plants as advertised. Well packaged in an environmentally friendly manner. Good value for some more unusual well rooted, potted plants - especially compared to the prices often charged for unrooted cuttings on certain websites!”

“Amazing shop with healthiest plants. All my plants came with very well secured packaging nd plants were healthy too. However one of my plant's leaves got damaged in the postage and I got full refund with no questions asked. I didnt even ask for it. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to buy healthy plants at affordable price. A very happy and contend customer.”
