About grow urban:

We are a friendly plant shop and garden store with two shops in Edinburgh and a delivery area that reaches most homes in the UK.

Our business was formed in April 2019 and our team of Plant Gurus are here to help offer advice and friendly customer service to Plant Lovers far and wide. We specialise in indoor plants but also offer a selection of outdoor plants and tools for the urban gardener.

If you're lucky enough to live close to one of our shops or will be visiting Edinburgh, you can also sit amongst the plants enjoying coffee and cake - yep, there's cafes in both of our shops! What are you waiting for? Enter the urban jungle and discover what's inside - we look forward to welcoming you!

“I bought a rescue box for someone I knew would relish giving them a little extra tlc. I picked them up at St Vincent St and the person who handed them over was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. They also helped me pick a dinky little plant for someone else.”

“Very good service and the advice on ridding my plants of fungus flies was excellent. Since repotting and adding the purchased crushed shells on top the problem is solved. Have not needed to even open the fly trap sticks I also bought but best to be prepared!”

“I bought a Monstera Thai Constellation and one of the leaves had splinters. At first I thought it was dirt so I rubbed it out with my fingers and I ended up having several splinters on my thumb and index. It took me a while to get rid of them with tweezers and I still have one that had gone under my skin (and it's painful).”
