“Every time I go into Harlows the staff are so helpful and supportive I had a stroke three years ago and it took part of my short term memory and speach but they take their time to get the right product that I need. I would never go elsewhere for my timber in fact I need to go up to Harlows again as I need some more timber again to make a small gate to keep my little dog from getting out.. I have been going to Harlows for nearly 70 yrs since I lived on Thornborough Road.I am 82yrs old now.”

“Timer not straight,feather edge panels damp.Delivery driver dropped items as soon as he could not where I wanted them.Only had one day to complete job so used the best of what I got.”

Good morning, Thank you for ordering from Harlow Timber. We are sorry to hear there was an issue with your delivery. We can assure that that your order did not leave us in this condition, and due to the heat we are having may be the reason that the item has twisted while in transit. The Feather edge boards are kept out side on our yard, so they would be open to the elements. “The timber itself was pretty decent, soft wood joinery. But it was sellotaped all the way around the timber. Had to go and put it through a thicknesser to get all the tape and glue off the material. Should never put tape onto finished material”

Good Morning, How are you? Firstly thank you for ordering from Harlow Timber, and we are pleased to hear that you found our wood to be of decent quality. Because this is a decorative or finished product we work hard to wrap this type of timber so that it does not get damaged in transit. We used cardboard corners and / or bubble wrap to ensure that your timber gets to you safely and without issue. We are sorry that a small amount of the tape used was adhered to the timber. We'd advise a cloth soaked in a little warm water will remove without damaging the product.
