“Fantastic service! I found a match to some old picture rail when I couldn’t find one anywhere else and the guys shipped it down in just a few days so it could be fitted by a decorator we already had booked. Cracking service, brilliant product.”

“I ordered OSB and batens for a new-build workshop at home. The lorry arrived on the given day and at a reasonable time. The driver was very courteous, polite and professional and even offered to help carry the timber up the garden. I won't hesitate to use Harlow's delivery service again and highly recommend the company as a whole.”

“Well, after searching for some non-twisted quality strip pine in all the big DIY shops and being let down by poorly stored, damaged, bent twisted wood, I almost gave up but found Harlow timber online and I thought.... might as well givebthem a try and wow! Am I pleased I did! Brilliant brilliant delivery and quality! Perfect”

“Easy to use website to order my wood from long wait for delivery but I think because they are very busy. Day of delivery phone call at 7 and here delivering by 7.10 very good service and customer service whenever contacting them”

“Sawn carcassing timber a bit rougher than expected but even with £53 delivery charge, still very reasonably priced & fit for purpose. But need to work on manner of delivery & use common sense - first batch (3.6m lengths) dumped at front door before I'd even opened it. Told them it's needed in the garden & I'd meet them at the side gate but they began stacking the rest along the side wall outside & drove off. 6 steps more & it would be safely inside where I could deal with it. I'm a lady in her 70s weighing 9.5 stone. Wood far too heavy to lift so had to drag each bundle in foot by foot on a hot morning. Not ideal!”

“Product was ok but lack of delivery information on web site and email , which states that they use there own transport, caused me to waste a day waiting for a delivery which did not arrive on the day stated. Even when I asked for an update I was still not told that DHL would be delivering. If I had know this I would have waited for the DHL text of the hour slot for delivery.”

Good Afternoon, How are you? Firstly thank you for ordering from Harlow Timber. We use a mix of own transport and external carriers based upon the order placed and it's destinaton. When we despatch at order an email is sent to the buyer informing them of the despatch and with any relevant tracking number if we are using an external carrier so that you can track your own order or in turn contact the courier if you will not be at home to recieve the consignment. “Brought some sleepers from the Hinckley branch. Price very competitive, customer service really good and friendly. Cut of the sleepers was spot on. Faultless. They went out their way to help me find the best underlay for my project. Highly recommended.”
