Apologies that I could only award four stars, considering that I am very happy with my dishwasher, and with my telephone interaction with Heavins prior to purchase. Unfortunately we had a blip with the delivery, which caused some inconvenience to me. Nothing major but I feel it warrants a mention. I was in Dublin and was to receive a phone call on the Wednesday morning confirming a delivery time so I hastened to Belturbet early that morning, in order to be in situ. However this call did not materialise. I rang later and was told that delivery would be made at 6 or 7pm that evening, which was fine with me. My son travelled from Dublin that evening in order to be on hand to install the dishwasher for me. However, it did not arrive. This was unfortunate for him. I rang the delivery guy's number and was informed that it would now be Thursday and that a time would be confirmed with me by phone at 9.30am on Thursday. No phone call came. I called around lunch time and was told that it was "in Mullingar" en route. It came, delivered and offloaded, and that was that. Mind you, the job of connecting it up took some hours and was not as trivial as it sounded. Anyway, that's it. I never write public reviews if I have anything negative to say so you will not see this on Trustpilot, however, I am mentioning it to you simply to ask that you alert people to please honour their promises to call people so that we are not left in limbo, making hasty journeys, and then chained to the house, awaiting delivery of something that is not actually going to be delivered at all on that day. I know it’s not such a big deal, in the scheme of things. Just a thought. As I said, I'm delighted with my dishwasher as the pump on the old one was not functioning properly and I was forced to pump out the water manually after each wash 😱 Apologies for the long message.
