“I have been shopping at Hobbyco since they were opposite Anthony Horden's in George Street, Sydney. This is the last century. There was a store at Macarthur Square but it is gone now. I have done a few online purchases and I am very satisfied with the promptness of the service. I am a member of Hobbyco. I am into Märklin HO Trains.”

“We visited the Sydney store earlier in the year, my son bought a Sluban tank and we naturally had to get more. Loved the in store experience, so buying online from Hobbyco was a no brainer. Stoked with our purchase and their professionalism. 10/10”

“I am only giving Hobbyco pay Ltd 3 stars due to the long waiting period from time of purchase to that of products arrival... I had bought 7 items: Purchased on the 9th of Sep. Shipped on the 13th. 2 items both individually posted arrived on the 17th. Today, is the 21st, other 5 items have yet to arrive. My issue is not so much with the postal service, but why were the items posted separately?? Had they all been placed in a single box, I could have received all items together. Had to pay for shipping and this is it?? Other hobby companies put everything in one box .”

“Half of my order was missing from the shipment but the first half that arrived did so in a reasonable time. More of a courier problem but instead of leaving both of the boxes in a safe place like i was told would happen, both ended up at the post office...”

“I ordered three small paint pots for $15. I paid another $15 for Express Post because I needed them soon. HobbyCo took 5 days to actually dispatch them, which completely defeats the point of me paying for Express... (ordered on a Friday, shipped on Wednesday the next week) HobbyCo are open 7 days a week so they even had the whole weekend to prepare to ship the item. I tried to call HobbyCo to demand they at least refund the $5 difference between Standard and Express Post but they wouldn't pick up the phone. I left them a voice message, but they never called me back. I contacted them via their online customer service and they never replied or even READ my message. In addition to this, one of the paints had its label half ripped off and sticky taped back on. This isn't even the first time I've had problems with these guys. HobbyCo are by FAR the worst, I mean the WORST hobby store I've ever dealt with in Australia.”
