“I have purchased many items from Hobbyco over the years. Everytime I have purchased, the item has been in stock, the price comparable if not a little better than others but dispatch/delivery has been fantastic. Sure I pay for better postage but I receive items across country within 4 days. Even when purchasing from other stores within my State or closer delivery times do not match this. Highly recommended.”

“Purchased a pricey 1/35 Tamiya US 40 Ton Tank Tranporter (T35230) kit on sale for 20% off. What a bargain, I thought. Almost 4 weeks later no sign of the order & website stated they had 2 left in stock. No problems. Sent an email querying the delay & was advised they were unable to locate the stock. Again, no problem & requested back-order. Was advised I had to cancel the order & get a refund (which wasn't the point). The price was way too good to let go; but no, we can't (or won't) do that. After cancelling & getting a refund, website STILL states "Hurry! Two left in stock!" - at the FULL price, of course. I felt cheated, especially since I'm a long-term, frequent customer. After posting review, received call from gentleman who kindly explained situation & the likely error & was able to offer me same item with an extra discount. Excellent! Many thanks guys! As Arnie says, "I'll be back!". Changed from 2/5 stars to 5/5 - excellent!”

“I've been a return customer with Hobbyco for several years and I've always been totally satisfied with their range of scale models; the prices for them and their safe, well protected packaging. Delivery times are usually good, however, they are not responsible for instances of delays in the international supply chain which effect all retailers of scale model kits.”

“The whole experience was saved by Allen and Grant. I would have given no star at all for the experience. Online shopping System is not designed to handle a mixed order - pre-order and In-stock - i lost an item that I ordered that was in stock as it wasn’t allocated while waiting for Pre-orders to arrive. Very disappointed but speaking to Allen and Grant they resolve some issues. Hopefully you’ll upgrade your system to handle different types of transactions and also have a live allocation system.”
