“The table we ordered came with a delay, we were very specific when ordering after about 4 meeting with the sales assistants in store, the promised it was arrive before we moved into a new build, it arrived about 4 weeks after.

I love the kitchen department always find something in there weather I need it or not, I do miss the gift section used to pick up lovely gifts for friends in there, also have lovely cards. It was thoroughly inspected before purchase by staff and myself.
Delivery was planned with us in mind and our availability.

“We went to HU to only have a look at fireplaces, but ended up purchasing a dining table and 6 chairs, which we thought were perfect for us. The following day we came back to HU for something else and saw another table & chairs, which we preferred, but wondered if HU would cancel our original purchase. No problems, the sales were great, the exchange paperwork was sorted out without any issues and the sales assistant was polite, helpful and very patient with us. We also had to changed delivery dates a couple of times, with the final date being brought forward, again, no problems. The table was delivered on the day and within the slot we were advised. The driver called 15 mins prior to delivery, as promised. The table was assembled and the assembler took time to adjust the extensions, to ensure that these were perfectly aligned. I cannot fault anything regarding how HU staff have dealt with the purchase and delivery. 👍”
“I purchased a rattan corner sofa set for the garden. the lady in the shop was very helpful & gave us a delivery date, she said that the day before delivery I would get a text to confirm the delivery, but I didn't, she also said in the day of delivery the driver would ring me about 30 minutes before would arrive, but he didn't !
Although I am very happy with my purchase I do feel the £79 delivery charge was very high, considering the lack of communication and the that no assembly was needed.”
