“Still waiting on our apron and mystery box and it would have been nice to have the apron for our first box. Otherwise, my kiddos loved the bunny cupcakes.”
“The recipes sent were not easy to do for a child under 10 without the help of an adult and sometimes confusing for me also as an adult. Instructions weren’t clear step by step”
“My kids and I really enjoy this subscription box. I like that it's something fun to do but doesn't fill my home with extra junk and my kids are learning kitchen skills.”
“We love I'm The Chef Too monthly subscription boxes. We've only received a couple duplicates, but we've done this for 2 years. It's great how the main ingredients are always included and only minor ingredients are needed, but we get emailed prior to delivery. Everything is aways fresh and labeled well. The only issue we come across is the food coloring always leaks out of the squeeze bottles into the bag and there isn't any to add to our creations.”
“Great ideas but much too time intensive to keep littles interested. My 5 year old lost interest right away and 7 year old gets very frustrated that what she creates doesn't look like the examples. Would love something more beginner friendly.”
“Really fun activity with the kids but would love if the ingredients were a little more healthy. No red dyes, less sugar, maybe ‘protein’ pancakes instead of regular ones.”
“I canceled subscription 2 weeks ago and you have acknowledged it. Transaction ID is 1435793867. I have not received refund. Please respond.
We’ve enjoyed kits but granddaughter has outgrown them.
Thanks”
“I am very happy with these boxes . However the last two boxes the food colorings has come broken and open.im.gkad there sealed in. Bag or it would be all over the boxes .”
“Received subscription as a gift. The boxes are well packed, with clear recipe cards, pre-measured and labeled ingredients, and are friendly for my 6 and 8 year old to navigate with minor supervision. Only complaint is that the recipies are frequently too sweet, and since things are pre-measured, I have to actively intervene to ensure the entire package doesn't get dumped into the bowl. I also wish the cards were better labeled regarding servicing sizes. The turtle whoopie pies had enough batter for 8 shells (four turtles) but the picture showed three turtles, so we had to put the extra shells on another sheet pan. I am glad the recipies are forgiving of mistakes though! Extra is better than too little.”
