“Logs are as expected and requested by me. My only gripe and it is a little one is that the delivery people call/text ETA.
Yes delivery was in the AM. Text would have been helpful to allow time to move car etc.”
“Delivery is always rapid and well organised and the wood is very dry and easy to light. It is not cheap by any means. I have tried their standard mix, hornbeam only and recently the South African Mixture
Standard mix burns rapidly, hornbeam is very dense and lasts a bit longer. The South African mixture is cut into much smaller pieces so more attention to refuelling is required though it stacks into a smaller volume.”

“Unfortunately, after using LogsDirect for many years, I cannot now give them a good rating. Mainly because the quality of the wood is poorer and the size of logs is so variable that we find ourselves with several logs too big for our stove. The length is standard but the width/girth is so huge that there is nothing we can do with these logs; they need splitting again. Also, we can never get the delivery firm to warn us as requested and, last time, they arrived 7.30am on a Saturday morning (not 8 am as agreed) - unacceptable in a built-up area - and woke our neighbours. I shall have to find a new suppler.”

“As I said on the phone when I complained that the delivery driver did not knock on the door as usual he or she just dumped the pallet in the middle of the drive and then drove off. I have been using Logs Direct for a good while and expect better service. I did phone you to complain and you said you would look into it but so far no reply so if you want to retain my custom please revert.
