“Used the marinades/sauces for a birthday BBQ. OMG...they really are delicious. Everyone commented on how tasty they were. I loved all 5 we recieved! A big 5 stars. Unlike any I have bought before. Will be buying again! Well done Mak Tok!!”

“Easy buying experience through the website - posted really quickly too. The website has a load of recipes to try my purchases out! Met the guys at the Malton Food Lovers Festival, and the team is fantastic. So friendly! I Will be using Mak Tok ingredients across all my cooking, not just the Malaysian inspired dishes in the future. Will be back again!”

“Sauces are delicious, well-packed for delivery, and arrive in just a few days after ordering. I have just tried the new Rendang sauce with the recipe provided for tuna fish cakes and everyone liked them. A friendly business with high quality products.”

“I love the fact that you get good heat without losing the flavour, too many hot sauces and pastes loose their flavour as the heat takes over but not Mat Tok, love it.”

“We received all of the sauces as a gift for Christmas from a dear friend after a conversation about how much we miss authentic Malaysian food. The taste and the smell was so authentic, we were both in tears - him cause of the spice and me cause it was a feeling at home during unsettling times! We both have our favourite sauces - he likes the sweeter, nuttier satay sauce, while I am a big fan of the signature sauce with a generous side of the fire chilli paste! The packaging is so lovely and Will always leaves a thank you note. I could not recommend Mak Tok any higher! Sambal is life!”

“I have been buying Mak Tok wonderful chilli pastes since I saw Will on Dragons Den. They have a very authentic taste and I love them! My granddaughter was also very impressed and took three jars home with her. I enjoy using the new products too, especially the sweet soy sauce. The sauces too are excellent.”
