“I've used the maktok pastes since Will appeared on Dragons Den and I love them. They are a household staple and used every week in our meals. The pastes taste authentic, they are rich in flavour but also pack a punch especially the fire paste. Each paste has its own unique taste that accompanies or creates amazing meals that leave you wanting more. Maktok as a company are fabulous. Each order is delivered super quick and efficiently, I have never had an issue with any delivery and they always have time for a bit of banter on social media. If you want tasty, authentically delicious Malaysian meals definitely look no further. I will always recommend Maktok to anyone who wants delicious food and to those wanting to try new cuisines without the hassle or those who simply want easy to cook meals.”

“Decided to try a few of Mak Tok products after seeing Will on Dragons’ Den. Was so pleased to discover that I could skip prepping for rendang by using one of his sauces. It’s has been a god send ever since. No more teary eyes from peeling onions and spending ages to cook the spice mix until oil appears on the surface. Both are my pet hates. Added bonus is that if you follow his recipe card (which he generously gives away as he’s such a sweet chap) you can do rendang in a slow cooker. Genius! For that alone, Will deserves a medal in my book. Did I mention his sambal? Or chilli paste? His signature sambal is just like the real McCoy nasi lemak sambal. It’s finger licking good 😋 without the hard work of pounding it in a pestle & mortar 😎 His satay sauce is handy to have too. Can have it on my toast to accompany a poached egg if I am feeling a bit indulgent. Delish!”

“For me, it all started with seeing young Will from Mak Tok on Dragons Den. He had so much enthusiasm as he told the story about how Mak Tok began. I ordered a few jars of Mak Tok Chilli Paste and found that they were excellent and far better than I could ever make and I have been buying them ever since. He has made some really good videos too, using the chilli pastes in many dishes. Renee Rowlands”

“As plenty of people I've learned about Mak Tok through Dragon's Den and had to try it for myself. Ever since then, I'd order on regular basis and loved all of their sauces. My personal favourites are the Original and the Satay sauce! Can't recommend it enough!”

“My go to “cheat paste” for my home cook meal. I’ve been buying from Mak Tok for the past year and it has been my life saviour during my lazy cooking day. The Fiery chilli paste is an excellent addition to my ayam masak merah recipe. I’ve made so many dishes from sambal nasi lemak to nasi goreng using this paste. Highly recommend it.”
