“After a few hiccups things were made right so I have faith thier customer service dept will work towards finding a solution that works for everyone in the end . In my case , the item I ordered wasn’t what I needed but things were fixed after a few e mails and all is well now .”

“Had the misfortune of hooking up a really large BFT before learning what everyone else on the boat knew; the hooks are no good for big fish. After 45 minutes the fish came up a few hundred yards from the boat and finished chewing through the hook leader. If you buy them for catching ground fish they are probably OK. For big fish replace the hooks with good hooks having leaders about 3 times as thick. I used OCEAN CAT Assist Hooks from amazon. They cost about $3 each which adds a bit to the jig cost. As I found that this losing fish on the rip-roller is common knowledge I am disappointed in both Mustasd and Melton Hill for selling them. They are quite effective for BFT night-jigging if you replace the hooks.”

Read your negative review on the Mustad jigs you bought from us.
Please note: you're targeting the biggest/baddest tuna in the ocean and you're using a $22 off the shelf mustad jig designed really for bottom fishing, etc.
YOU HAVE TO UPGRADE your hooks and rigging...and frankly it's kind of a Known thing here is so cal that ANYONE targeting these fish uses xxxl hooks and rigging so they dont get bit off. The crew should have pointed that out as well if you or your buddies didn't know this going in.
In the future, we are happy to offer this as a service if you ask. We have no control over what you buy and how you ultimately use it or your application. It's not advertised or promoted as a BLUEFIN ready jig...blaming us or Mustad for not rigging them correctly is not really fair either when you might be using them for bottom fishing which is the intended use as they come rigged form the factory.

The owned the mistake of not following through with the order and asked if I still wanted to have it sent or get a full refund. It took me about 5 days to respond and am now waiting patiently for the order to arrive. I was impressed that they got back to me and owned the error. That shows me they do care about customer satisfaction. If permitted, I will follow-up once I get the order.”
“I and others love the Playaction snap on belt, I currently have four of various sizes for guests. It makes fishing more enjoyable and a lot of fun. Watch videos of people who don't use a belt and see how they keep the rod butt under their arm while they try to reel in a large fish, some end up turning their rods 180 degrees! They give you more control over the fish, especially when they are over 100 pounds.”
