“MyEngineeringBuddy.com contacted me through LinkedIn eight months ago. My experience with them has been largely positive. They care about their tutors and aren't just focused on making money. They ensure we have what we need to succeed. However, there are some downsides. I don’t know exactly how much profit they take, but I've heard it ranges from 20% to 60%, which makes me wonder if students are paying a lot more. Another issue is the inconsistent workload; sometimes there’s too much work, other times very little. Also, the company doesn’t pay for the time spent on inquiries. As a tutor, you can spend up to 20 minutes understanding an assignment without any compensation. Despite these, working with MyEngineeringBuddy.com in the field of Mechanical Engineering has been a good experience overall.”

“Positive Experience with Timely Payments and Active Feedback Listed with MyEngineeringBuddy.com for the past year and a half, specializing in Electrical and Electronics. One of the things I appreciate most is that they value my input and actively seek feedback. “Hey there! I've got to talk about something that didn't sit right with me about MyEngineering Buddy. Okay, first things first, their team is on point with matching tutors to students. Seriously, you can connect with a real person instantly. Unlike my old tutoring gig where I had to wait forever! But man, getting selected as a tutor at MyEngineeringBuddy? It was tougher than cracking IITJEE, no joke! And that's coming from someone who's been through it. But hey, tutors do get to have some say in the final pricing, which is a nice touch. Still, the selection process needs some serious tweaking. Cheers!”

“As a tutor with My Engineering Buddy for the past 7 years, I've seen both positives and negatives. The hourly fees are notably better compared to similar companies, which is a huge plus. However, the lack of control over setting my own rates is frustrating. I can only negotiate within the range the company provides. This restriction sometimes feels limiting when I believe my expertise warrants a higher rate.”
