I ordered four sweet chicks (2 Olive Eggers and 2 Frizzled chicks) and I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. They are so healthy and interactive. I have had them a week now and they have been such a joy! The purchasing and delivery was such a smooth process. I have place another order to be delivered in August!! I am so thankful to have found such a reliable and exceptional resource!

I purchased five chicks. One arrived dead and I was promptly given a refund. Another languished and died outside the 48-hour window. Now I have three. I wanted five. I feel like part of the responsibility was USPS for the ridiculously long time it took them to get me my chicks (shipped Monday, arrived at central depot at end of day Thursday. They said they would be delivered to my post office Friday, but I could drive out to the depot to get them Thursday if I could hop in the car immediately). Still, I wanted five chicks and ended up with three.

My Pet Chicken takes every customer's review seriously as they are helpful in our continued efforts to make each order the best we are able for every flock keeper. We imagine the postal service shares in our sorrow for your heartbreaking and disappointing experience. USPS is the only company that will ship the hundreds of live chick orders every week and normally there are very few issues. However, when there are problems brought to our attention, My Pet Chicken and USPS work together to identify any issues in an effort to correct them for the safety of our babies and to bring happiness, not sorrow, to our customers. I am so grateful I found My Pet Chicken! I trust this company and will continue to recommend and do business with them . They go above and beyond with customer service. My chicks have all arrived healthy. I am absolutely in love with my chicks. I have purchased Lavender & splash Ameraucanas , Silkie Easter Eggers, blue splash Marans, Ameribellas & Buff Brahma chicks.

I bought three silkie bantam chicks a week ago, they are so cute and healthy, and the customer service was great too. I definitely will buy from this company again.

I ordered four chicks of four different breeds. All arrived healthy and ready to go, despite the outdoor tempersture being 100 degrees the day they arrived. Kudos to the USPS, in addition to the seller. Will definitely buy from again in the future!

3 of my 6 chicks died siphon 3 days. I reached put to My Pet Chicken and got no reply.

We have been getting birds for mulriple years. The last 2 orders were duck and goose. They came happy and health. We did have a duck pass with shortly after we receive them. They were and quick to refunded and were very happy ro help. I highly recommend them and will purchase birds from them again.

I received only great customer service from My Pet Chicken. I requested three different colors for my silkie pullets (so I could easily tell them apart and because there are so many colors) and, even though they couldn’t make any promises, I received the most gorgeous white, buff, and blue ladies. They arrived overnight to Los Angeles from Ohio and in great condition. I would definitely order from My Pet Chicken again.

I received my 8 chicks in March of 2023. I had never ordered chickens on line and had chicken years ago that I bought locally. I wanted a variety of laying hens. I found the chicks to be healthy and happy. They ate and drank from the start. My Pet Chicken has been so great to deal with. They are quick to answer any questions. My ladies are doing very well, healthy, lay every day winter or summer. I will order more eventually but these are keeping us well supplied in eggs for now. When I do get more, they will be from My Pet Chicken.

Love their selection of interesting breeds of chicks -- have been ordering them for years! Always healthy and properly sexed. Their return policy on non-chick purchases could be clearer. The 20% restock fee is a little bit outrageous.

We try our best to share our refund and return policies not only under the Refunds & Returns link at the bottom of the My Pet Chicken website but also on product pages if it varies due to manufacturer restocking charges but take your feedback seriously. Ordered 5 chicks, 2 died after one day, one that came weak died 5 days later, one is a rooster, leaving one healthy chick. Chicks came from Meyers. Back to Mcmurray for me; never had a chick die from them.

We were so very sorry for the loss of your little ones as we know, from our communications with you, that everyone was diligently attempting to help them. We hope that the refund we issued as part of our live arrival guarantee has been viewed on your payment account. Though we do our best to ensure the little ones are healthy and prepared for their journey to their new homes, unfortunately sometimes it is just not enough. Losses in the first two days can sometimes be attributed to stress from a difficult transit, and losses beyond that time could indicate an issue within the brooder such as expired feed, bedding, or even faulty equipment that does not keep the brooder at the best temperature. Please let us know if we can offer further assistance as we are here to help our fellow flock keepers.

I have always had a pleasant experience with the MPC service department and its products and livestock. If something goes wrong, they usually go out of their way ( Anna) : ) and can fix the issues. As for the livestock, I love the breeds that I have purchased over the past 14 years from MPC, and they have very few health issues, which is a natural process with life in general.

I only purchase my Orpington “girls” from my pet chicken. 🐓 And lately, that decision paid off. A mixed up individual at the USPS “drove around all day” with 5 chicks in the back of his truck. Needless to say 3 babies did not survive. One of which I paid approximately $35.00 for. After I notified My Backyard Chicken, the 3 girls were replaced without a problem or hassle. The flock has increased by 5 (10 total) and “Bunny Franklin” (one of my first chicks) will be celebrating her 8th birthday on July 4th. Thanks, Edward

While we were sad for what happened to your babies on your first shipment for your order, we were grateful that we were able to reship those that were lost as promised by the My Pet Chicken live arrival guarantee. We want our fellow flock keepers who order their babies from us to know we will be there for them and do what we can to help them during times such as those. My first chick order was a disaster due to insufficent care during shipping, but My Pet Chicken was there with me every step of the way. I must have spoken to or emailed with pretty much everyone on the staff & they we so kind & helpful. My replacement order & my additional order of chicks arrived in perfect condition! I couldn't recommend them more!

While I have purchased muliple times from this company I had some issues with the baby chicks on arrival and lost two right away. I think they faced some inforseen trauma in shipping. The care team responded right away to my emails even though some were sent after hours. They helped guide me through the experience and ultimately refunded my money for the lost chicks. They have excellent customer service and great selection of different breeds.
