“I have made multiple purchases of Pekin Ducklings and I am 100% happy with not only the ducks, but with the great customer service provided by the MPC staff. I made an error on my shipping address that was updated immediately (even though it wasn't during MPC normal business hours I don't believe) and Reps are also helpful with questions about the care of the ducks.”

“Such amazing service. There was a delay in the shipping which resulted in the poor chicks not making it and My Pet Chicken stood by their service resending the chicks. Not only was it early the 2nd time around they were very clean.”

“I LOVE My Pet Chicken.!!!!Any and everything I have purchased has been exactly what was described on their site. The chicks I ordered last spring have started laying and it's so fun to see the changes in the sizes of the eggs each week. I seldom handle my birds but to my surprise on the hens has decided she is my best friend. I can go outside and she runs up and lays down right in front of me so I can pet her or pick her up. Who knew chickens could be so friendly??? Have not tried the coop heater yet but as soon as my handyman hangs it for me - I will let you all know how it works.”

“I bought six chickens two died within three days. And I’ve held chickens for over 15 years it surely wasn’t my care or management. So that’s a little disheartening Other than that transaction was smooth”

“Customer care very important with these folks. They have shipped my order on time. My ducks are perfect. They are 3 weeks old and very healthy. Follow the directions on a one page sheet of paper they send you. No problems just ducklings everywhere. Very nice!!!”

“I ordered 8 chicks and 4 died within 3 days. I had a heat lamp, food, and water. I also cleaned them and refreshed their water daily. We had to buy 4 local chicks to replace the 4 that died and all 4 that were bought locally survived. I wouldn’t order from them again because shipping is too much on the chicks.”

“We placed two orders with My Pet Chicken. Our first order had a high amount of chicks that didn't make it through shipping. No fault of the company. USPS issues. My Pet Chicken agents were very sympathetic and refunded my money quickly. The chicks that survived are currently strong and healthy. I didn't get all the breed of chicks I ordered, but I gave them the okay to substitute. I'm very happy with the selection. Our second order came, and only one chick passed. I received all the breeds I ordered. I've now placed 3 orders with My Pet Chicken and will most likely place many more.”

“Only issue I had was with the post office, they lost my ducklings for a day. Everyone arrived happy and healthy. They are friendlier than the birds I'd gotten from tractor supply. Very happy and will definitely order again”

We were so relieved when your little ones were reported as safe and sound! Our little ones are bred from a wonderful flock who are floor raised and have a ton of interaction with their flock keepers so it is not surprising that their offspring may be a bit calmer than perhaps from other locations. “I have had a several good experiences with MPC through the last few years. After looking closer at my receipt of my lastest order of 7 chicks and the cardboard brooder panels, I realized I was charged $110.62 for shipping. $60 for the chicks, and $50.62 for the carboard panels (panels cost $19.95). When I contacted them through email about the error, they replied the shipping cost was correct. I would have not purchased the cardboard had I cought the shipping cost.”

However, bulky items like brooder panels incur higher costs, and significant shipping rate increases this year have affected total shipping costs.
