“This is first time buying chicks from them, had a few losses, they reimbursed me, but the phone calls I made to them they were immediately returned and they told me how chicks can flight stress, great people and great company to deal with, I will continue to buy from them in the future.”

“Got 15 baby chicks. Couldn't get my first request of Rhode Island Red so they sent their specially bred black chickens. They are supposed to be friendly but at 14 weeks very skiddish. Ended up with one dead from shipping and two roosters. My Pet Chicken was great about refunding for the loss and the wrong sex.”

“In the last couple months I ordered hatching eggs - none developed even though the other shipped eggs in my incubator hatched, and then they fussed about their guarantee. I then ordered and paid for Sebastopol geese, got all ready for their arrival including purchasing equipment, only to ask them a question a few days before shipping and be told the geese were never actually available (no one bothered to let me know). And finally, I ordered 6 chicks and they all arrived dead. Issues and accidents happen, however 3 bad experiences in a matter of months does not sit well.”

Our policies and guarantees are designed to give our customers confidence when placing orders with us. While we can't foresee or prevent every issue, we are always here to help when problems arise. We issued a full refund for your chick order and offered to reship your hatching eggs as per our policy. Unfortunately, the goslings did not hatch as expected. We understood you were looking for specific breeds and didn’t want to make changes, so we canceled and issued a refund per your request. We are sorry to hear that our efforts were unsatisfactory.

“I have always appreciated MPC. The birds I have gotten through them have been "perfect." None died on the way or even died at all due to poor health from the shipper. I recently purchased the NiteEyes through MPC. After I got the first 2, I ordered 2 more, realizing the entire concept. Predators are not welcome here and I'm hoping that these devices will help keep them away.”

“Unfortunately my order that i recieved did not contain the correct breeds i had ordered, however it has been pleasant dealing with customer service... we are still communicating to come up with a resolution. thankfully all three chicks arrived healthy”

“I think the best part, to me, about MPC is their customer service. They are always so kind and incredibly helpful. They send a link to articles with information and advice; and as chicken lovers themselves they usually have their own wisdom they can share. I've needed to add to an order, deal with a sick chick, had questions about products, and they've always been great. I've ordered 11 chicks from MPC, all different breeds, and several different products. I've always been happy with everything and recommend them to anyone looking for a company that truly cares for chickens and their customers.”

“First time chicken mom. Ordered 12 chickens. All of them arrived in perfect health with no issues. I would definitely purchase again from My Pet Chicken. The website you have is also very good, especially for first time owners who are nervous about raising chickens.
