As soon as you open the packaging you know you’ve bought a decent glove. Warm and waterproof ? Yes to both. Stitching excellent. The fleece inserts along the thumb on the outer space of the glove is useful to wipe glasses, phone, nose. The material on the finger tips makes using a smartphone effortless. The palm structure provides excellent grip. Using binoculars was super easy. As for sizing, pay careful attention to the sizing guide. I measured my hands as per instructions. I was at the limit of small or beginning of a medium. I opted for small. Pardon the pun “they fit like a glove” quite snug to put on or take off but nice fit when on. They will stretch a little with age. I feel if I’d have bought medium they may have been a little roomy for my hands. Overall, great bit of kit from the faultless New Forest Clothing team.

"The jacket is fairly heavy. The padding goes right down the arms. I wore out when it was 14deg and raining, it was a little too warm. But will be perfect for the winter. Waterproofing was fine, and the hood which comes folded up in the pocket attaches easily. The main zip could be better (one of those two part ones) its a little fiddly to get to work. I\u2019m 6ft and 16st and its a perfect fit. "
