“Update: the company emailed me and offered to refund the admin charge as a gesture of goodwill. The money was paid into my account a few days later. Total refund £72. I sold my car and tried to transfer my policy over to my new car. The cost of transferring the policy was three times as much as the original policy, owing to administration charges. It was actually cheaper to cancel my existing policy and take out a totally new policy with a different insurance company. I was only offered a refund of £12, despite having paid £175 and only using it for 3 months. I decided it was better to cut my losses and cancel my policy with this company. I will never take out insurance with them again and I would never recommend them to anyone.”
