“I have used one protect a few times, but I had never had to make contact with them, well I needed to and was the worst experience ever. I was 38 in an online queue, explained what I wanted to do which was a price to add building insurance on and after having years of no claims was quoted a ridiculous amount, which led to me going elsewhere. I then asked for a refund of the contents insurance which should have been 6 months worth to be told no refund as I had charges for this that and the other. I had recommended this company to others and will not be doing that again. I understand a small cancellation charge, but 6 months worth is ridiculous. My advice is they may come out cheep, but be careful on charges if you need to alter anything.”
