“I was very disappointed that, 1) when I contacted Pasturebird via email and the website requesting a way to call or receive a call, I was not granted this, 2) when the chicken was delivered a few days late, there was no dry ice left and the outside was beginning to thaw 3) that it didn't appear the insulation was recyclable or compostable like other companies I use 4) that my first breasts were slightly freezer burned from being re-frozen after late delivery”

I like the idea that they started with although they explained the chickens still needed grain there were good reasons .
So far far enjoying the product for taste as well. Doing whole 30 and have a lot of hives skin stuff rashes allergies so want to see if it helps .
Also when they delved into what goes on in food production who wants to eat anything else than this . So this is a good thing .

Monthly Auto deliv is great . I live on this stuff . Nitpick pts: don’t be afraid to list price per pound and per pack for comparison to store bought. Not the same product as your taste/ quality is 2x anyone else, but people still want to see comparison. Also packaging is weak and leaks during defrost . I throw mine in a ziplock bag to keep it sealed. They should arrive in ziplock also . I’d pay $.10 more for better Indic package. wings are the best . Keep it up brother !”

“I definitely appreciate the proper care of animals. We have been purchasing pasture birds product from our local grocery store "ROOTS". I used to buy my chicken at sprouts and food for less, but i noticed that the chicken breast would have spagehetti lines in it. Most of the breast that i buy from pasture bird are of good quality but every now and then a spaghetti chicken breast appears.... can you tell me why that is?”
