I wish the packaging was airtight. It leaks when it thaws. I'm uncomfortable with the fact that the packaging has holes in it.”
“By far some of the best tasting chicken! On my 5th or so order now (in fact just made a tumeric red lentil stew with chicken breast and it was delicious!) Updated delivery with dry ice makes recycling the box so much easier than ice packs other companies use. What’s to say? Commercial and even other organic chickens dont even compare. “My order was placed. It was delivered from CA to Indiana faster than a chicken can fly. OK chickens don't fly - but I wanted to say that. Everything was totally frozen and perfectly packaged for the long flight. The chicken is superb. Not chewy - it was moist and tasty. I'm usually a breast-choice person. Tonight I made the thighs in my air fryer. Now I am a thigh choice person. Hiding in my cabinet, I had some crispy Coconut Rolls (Alli & Rose LLC) that I buy from Costo. I wanted to air fry my dinner. I mixed up an organic egg that I get from the neighbors across the street as I feel it's only fair that I buy those since the chickens think my yard is their bug-picking pen. I beat the egg and dropped the thigh in to soak. I crushed up the coconut rolls made with real coconut and roasted black sesame seeds on a plate. I put the thigh into the crumbs and mashed the crumbs into the chicken. I brushed some organic sunflower oil on both sides and put it in the air fryer on the rack. It cooked very quickly -- so maybe without the rack would have been better as the chicken was not done but the outside was browned. I put the chicken in the oven to finish. The meat was perfect. Moist, tender and delish. I even ate the skin. What could I do? I am very happy with my decision.”

“My 4 whole chickens arrived with 1 being nearly fully thawed and the other three partially. Consider adding Freezer packs to avoid unthawing.
I put them in teh freezer right away. Makes me worried it was maybe spoiled but I think it was ok.”
