Hi Brian, our Lavender pillow is filled with lavender microcapsules that release a gentle aroma when in contact with friction. If you try plumping it, your pillow should begin to release its fragrance :)

Thank you so much for the feedback, we try and match everyone with their perfect pillow but sometimes it just isn't a perfect fit. Glad your friend found them comfortable however :)
“My husband was snoring a lot, so I decided to purchase some new pillows. I ordered 2 of the pillows with the next cut out (butterfly shaped).
The pillow has helped a lot with his snoring . I have found that I am sleeping a lot better as well. I find the pillow very comfortable and lovely and cooling.
