The item was faulty so returned to Road Angel. You refused to validate the warranty as you said it was not purchased through an authorised seller.

“I initially brought the current version only to be disappointed as it was impossible to turn on. Road Angel replaced this with the older model and this over heats on every journey causing it to turn off. I am not sure which was less useful. This has been the biggest waste of money.”
