I brought the Halo Start with the hard wire kit. Had an issue with the first hard wire kit but was sent a replacement free of charge. Overall the dash cam looks good as I wanted one without a screen. The Halo playback app could be improved as not totally user friendly unless you turn off mobile data and Bluetooth. Didn’t realise it doesn’t have gps so no speed is shown, which I thought was standard.. should have did research better. They do have the singing all dancing dash cam with a usable app and gps with a price. Next time with my next car. Also got the screen discs to help with the windscreen, took them off as I couldn’t see a difference. Once you get over the linking your phone to the dash cam then it is a good dash cam. But will buy the next one with gps and user friendly app.

I purchased this for my BMW 2024MY, installed and got it working. Unfortunately it interfers with the BMW infotainment system. So to use it , have to switch off the car "wifi" which means cannot use any of cardplay functions. I probably need to contact the helpdesk and seek advice.

The fact that there was no mention that a memeory chip was not part of the deal was a major factor to my marks which were generous

Well I answered an advertisement on Facebook. The package came with no instructions and withotu the helpful people at Halfords (3 times) I wouldn't have been able to fit or use the device. No that it is fitted it seems fine.

My Road Angel pure has been a good servant to me, but because of downloading difficulties, I was advised to purchase a later version. Unfortunately, despite numerous telephone conversations with the tactical department neither they nor I could get it to pick up a satellite signal. I therefore returned it within the statutory period however my reimbursement was not quite what I paid for it.

Good products, when on offer very good value too. I have down rated my review because I have recently found that new products are incompatible with previous version mounts. Current mounts are very expensive and out of stock. So having spent £200 I have an unusable product which I have relied upon for at least 15 years (in previous incarnations)

I was looking forward to installing my dam cam, I got it at a good price. The camera works well and the app is easy to use. The instructions for the placement of each bit of film was lacking, I put the large bit of film behind my mirror and then the smaller static bit of film on my camera attachment, but the film did not stick to either so I was forced to remove both bits of the film and dispose of the them. I don't know what the film would do but I can't use it. I found this very disappointing.

Very disappointed. I had my Road Angel Pure One for 13 days when it went wrong. It was delivered to Road Angel on 31st October and I had to wait until 22nd November for a repaired unit to be returned and thentheysaythatmywarranty won't be extended for the time Road Angel had it. Very poor customer service. After 13 days use good customer service would despatch a new unit by return. I have been a loyal Road Angel customer for many years from the Gem to the Pure which I only replaced with a Pure One because after many years of service my Pure finally died . This leaves me most disappointed.

Looks very neat and fits easily in my car. However, it must be made much clearer that you will need a fixed wiring kit in addition to the dashcam as this was not made clear. Only became apparent when the package was opened while at Halfords for the installation, so having to rebook the fitting.

I contacted Road Angel by telephone prior to purchasing my halo pro. I was assured that this camera included potential collision detection and alerts as well as pedestrian alerts. I am extremely disappointed that this appears NOT to be the case!!

Overall I ended up satisfied with my experience of the company, though there were some bumps in the road. My card did not work at first and had to be returned. The card appeared to be of a different manufacture, though the company assures me it is the same card in different packaging. Eventually I managed to get a refund, and have since bought a replacement card. This card works well and the dashcam is very good.

Love Road ange but hate constant reminders to upgrade I even sent my road angel to you and paid £119 with rquest that your remove the need for constant remders s well as "Report Incident" reminders, neither of which I want or do. Bought this from Halfords and paid £80 extra to get it fitted. I had hoped they would offer advice on how to connect it but i received my keys with a quick "Bye" I found it very difficult to get it to work and after 2 weeks off and on I think I have it cracked. Always has nextbase previously and although i like the App and look of Roadangel, for ease of use and connectivity I feel it will be back to Nextbase

I did not buy everything my auto electrican needed. You need to provide some guidance to non-electrican purchasers like me. I bought the extension cable (thinking I needed it for the back window camera) when it was not needed. i did not buy the hard-wire kit which was needed. I did not buy the micro SD card and that is needed.

not great in bright sunlight car behind can apear as a double image on on the screen and one is a reflection on the screen can be a bit disconcerting

Road Angel dashcam is really good gives Brill wide views through front camera/mirror. But after my purchase I found rear cable was 20cm short and I had pay a further 39.99 for a 5ft rear cable no other option given and 9.95 to get it delivered quickly . Personally when I choose this dashcam I was assuming that the cables be long enough to fit any vehicles. Longer cable had to be bought through road angel or guarantee invalidated . 5ft cable to cover 20cm !!!

Communications aren't transparent. Faulty device is returned but they won't tell you what was wrong with it or how it was fixed. Support desk is outsourced. Costs of devices, accessories and subscriptions, in hindsight, probably not worth it especially as alternatives such as Waze are available.

pretty good. when it works.... Sometimes takes ages finding satellites and the app sometimes doesn't connect if you want to make changes. Would be good if there was more options for the alerts (for example be good not to have the beeps continuously for cameras... But it's good!
