Join me for Online Coaching, get healthy and fitter the right way!

I provide a softer approach to online coaching, I’m not going to expect you to do something unrealistic, If you are a shift worker, busy parent, or student I will not be expecting you to do +10k steps every day or go to the gym 5 days a week.

You make progress through some simple small changes to your lifestyle. ShiftandLiftByLaura plans are completely bespoke and tailored to you. Fitness Is for Everyone I am a very caring and compassionate coach and I pride myself in that. Working in the NHS as a Registered Nurse has taught me the skills that are extremely transferable to being an online coach.

I will empower, support and motivate my clients. I understand the difficulties of working shifts and the health problems which may arise. I will celebrate all the small wins with you along the way. Following my own weight loss journey I know how important these small wins are. I believe everyone has the ability to change their life.

Zero regrets starting with Laura for my programme ? from the check-ins to the messaging back and forth, she has been wonderful with me! She gives me the right amount of guidance and is really encouraging with is needed when you’re going through a slump! 11cm off my waist in 1 month! Cannot believe the results since starting my plan..The app is wonderful and super easy to use, I love everyone of my workouts and that makes it so much easier to stick to the plan..?? I would 10/10 recommend shift and lift to anybody looking for more guidance and accountability. And most importantly you can speak to Laura like a friend ?

I’ve been with Laura for a month now, and I already feel so much more confident and happy within myself! The workouts are easy to follow and not complex making them genuinely enjoyable. Laura messaged me after I completed my first workout to see how it went, shows she genuinely cares about each of her clients! Any changes that need to be made, Laura changes them quickly to suit you. Genuinely doesn’t feel like I’m on a ‘diet’ and I’m still seeing progress which is probably one of my favourite things about Laura’s plan. I have a better relationship with food than what I did a month ago. Laura is super supportive and encouraging, always happy to answer questions and check your form! Would definitely recommend Laura and shift and lift!

I started with Laura looking to make a change and right away I absolutely loved that with the Shift and Lift program I was able to work around my odd shifts and looking after my child. Laura's tailor made workout plans were incredible and she was always checking in with me to see if I needed any changes made and it was so easy to contact her if I had any questions. The choice of meals is amazing too and I loved that there was even snack options in there that included chocolate, one of the things I love most and I was so glad I didn't have to give it up. Laura and the Shift and Lift program taught me so much about food and exercise and I have left the program feeling like a fountain of knowledge! And feeling incredibly good about myself! I highly recommend Shift and Lift

I've been with Laura's plan for around 3 months now & it has honestly changed my whole mindset on everything! She has provided such a thorough plan for me & is always easy to contact if I need to change/add anything I'm losing weight at a steady rate and because I do weekly progress photos it's amazing to see my body changing.The support and encouragement has been amazing, before this I would try & use generic food diaries however didn't have the discipline to keep it up however that has all changed now. I've also started to do exercises that I normally never have, and they're all so well explained which makes it so much better. I don't go the gym so Laura had provided amazing home workouts for me.She has also changed how I think about meals when I go out to restauraunts. Before this I would feel so guilty but now I understand that one meal isn't going to make me put all my weight back on and I can still enjoy life.

I've used several fitness or dieting apps before and none have been like the service offered by Laura at Shiftandlift. Three months ago I couldn't walk into a gym without overwhelming anxiety and now I am weight-lifting and using equipment I never thought I would have had the confidence to use. When I expressed hesitation about exercises or equipment, Laura changed my plan straight away to better suit equipment available/what I'm comfortable with. I also have the facility to substitute exercises myself - it takes about ten seconds on the app. Each exercise has a video of Laura doing it herself but on top of that, you are encouraged to video yourself so that Laura can check your form and offer advice. Laura's support and encouragement has been consistently kind and effective and I am the fittest I have ever been. My journey is only just beginning but I have spent most of my adult life trying to lose weight/become fitter and for the first time, I feel like I have found someone who is helping me to achieve a healthy balance. It's so refreshing to see the progress as I become stronger and it's exciting to look forward to how far I'll go. Huge thanks to Laura and I would highly recommend her app and training for anyone who needs a bit of guidance and support and to know that she's got your back.

I am going into week 5 with Laura and I cannot believe how much my mindset has changed. I used to be a no breakfast person because I believed that it would make you put on weight but then eat a massive dinner. I am now having 3 meals a day with snacks and I have lost inches of my waist and I am not going hungry. My outlook has completed changed and factoring in my gym sessions which are more focused, I now feel stronger. I can still live my life without my weight loss journey overtaking social events. Can’t wait to see what the next 6 weeks bring!
