Join me for Online Coaching, get healthy and fitter the right way!

I provide a softer approach to online coaching, I’m not going to expect you to do something unrealistic, If you are a shift worker, busy parent, or student I will not be expecting you to do +10k steps every day or go to the gym 5 days a week.

You make progress through some simple small changes to your lifestyle. ShiftandLiftByLaura plans are completely bespoke and tailored to you. Fitness Is for Everyone I am a very caring and compassionate coach and I pride myself in that. Working in the NHS as a Registered Nurse has taught me the skills that are extremely transferable to being an online coach.

I will empower, support and motivate my clients. I understand the difficulties of working shifts and the health problems which may arise. I will celebrate all the small wins with you along the way. Following my own weight loss journey I know how important these small wins are. I believe everyone has the ability to change their life.

I joined Shift and Lift not long after its launch and WOW it was worth it! Although I ended up leaving before my year was up - I did struggle to manage my own time with work and things going on in my personal life at the time - I felt as if I’d made progress in ways I never thought were possible. Signing up with Shift and Lift will do absolute wonders for your physical health but also your mental health too. When I was consistent and sticking to it 100%, I lost a lot of weight (in a healthy manner) and felt the most amazing I’d felt in myself in such a long time. When I struggled, Laura was always there for me. I honestly can’t thank her enough. Now I’ve got a little bit more balance in my life, I make the foods recommended by Laura and work out when it’s right for me. This mindset is something I never thought I would have but Laura and the lovely, encouraging things she would say to me have stayed with me. Shift and Lift will change your life!

I’ve been with Shift & Lift for around three months now. I love the app. My trainer Rachel is such a lovely person & very supportive. The meals are all incredible. I can’t comment on the exercise as I’ve done a nutrition only plan but it really is fab. The admin get back to you really quickly, as does my trainer. If there are any technical issues they always solve them straight away. Highly recommend.

I joined Shift and Lift Dec 2023 as I wanted to try a PT and lose weight, S&L appealed to me as Laura too was a nurse and understood the struggles of shift work and working out at the same time. I have loved every minute of S&L, my workouts are enjoyable and there’s plenty of meal options to choose from, the community created is also very supportive! I’ve been to the gym a couple times before I started but never really stuck to it, now it’s become part of my day off routine and I enjoy going to the gym which I never thought I would say! So far I’ve lost 8kg and I’m so pleased and have been determined to get fitter and stronger! My coach has been Laura and she has been amazing! Any issues I’ve had she has rectified straight away no questions or judgements passed, she takes into consideration that we have a social life and supports this also Thank you and I really look forward to continuing my journey with S&L

Laura is always on hand to answer questions about nutrition and from. I changed plans and had a refund within days. Excellent customer service. Plans are wasy accessible and well explained. So supportive.

I had been thinking about shift & lift for a while and reached out the the beginning of the year for some information- the guy who did my call back was really helpful, not salesy and not pressure at all. A few months after I got back in touch and got the ball rolling. The app is really good, easy to log food and it’s how I communicate with Rachel my coach. Her help and support has been amazing! I was buzzing to be paired with her as she’s a mum and understands how challenging it can be to balance everything! She really supportive and always at the end of the chat if I need her. I’m really pleased with the progress I’ve made and will continue to make! Thank you ☺️

I started working with shift&lift a couple of months ago and had a great experience. The workouts are great and after getting used to, the app is actually easy to use. Celia was my coach and she was lovely and so motivating. Unfortunately, I’m having to stop my membership now due to unforeseen circumstances. Nonetheless, I’m considering reaching out again in the future when my circumstances change.

After recently having a baby I needed a kick start with my diet and exercise so decided to join shift and lift. I wasn’t disappointed!! Such a welcoming friendly community online. My coach was Rachel and she was fantastic. She is her mum herself so was very understanding of the pressures that you face being a new mum. She is caring and gave me some motivation when I needed it. Nothing was too much trouble and she was always willing to help. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with shift and lift and hope to return towards the end of the year.

Laura and her team have been so fab even from the phone call at the very start. I originally asked about the programme a few months previous to started but didn’t sign up then. A few months later when I really felt ready I reached out again and I was warmly welcomed, I was given lots of information and didn’t feel pushed at all into making a decision. Laura has been my coach and has been great at adapting my plan to what suits me around work/life etc. There are great challenges that are put on which really gives you an extra push, if like me, you like a bit of competition ? Laura’s always really supportive if you feel like you’re having a bad day she manages to boost your motivation. Really happy with my experience so far ???

Can’t recommend Laura and Shift&Lift enough! I started with Shift&Lift last October after years and years of fad diets, terrible relationship with food and inconsistent exercise. Through Laura’s programme and support I have completely changed my mindset and now have a really healthy relationship with food and exercise. The app itself is brilliant and I don’t find it a chore to track my cals like I have previously with other apps. Laura is an absolute BABE and is happy to answer any questions I might have, no matter how silly they may feel! There’s a lovely community within the app where we can all help each other if we have questions/need advice and there’s recently been a competition which has been super fun! I’m going travelling next July and honestly feel the healthiest version of myself, I hope and plan to take everything I’ve learnt from Laura whilst I’m away?

Since joining the shift&lift family, I have a lot of more confidence and feel better in myself. I started when I was 12 weeks postnatal and felt overwhelmed and anxious at first. Rachel, however, made me feel at ease. She listened to me and helped me with a plan that broke me back into the fitness/training with some nice small routines at first. Rachel has been so kind and has been supportive.

I had an initial sales call with Luke who was knowledgeable about all the plans Laura offers. He wasn't too pushy, which was great, but could answer all my questions. I've been given Emily as my coach and she checks in with me every 2 weeks but if I have a question, she is more than happy to answer whenever I ask them. She has helped me stop weighing myself everyday as it was effecting my mental health and is helping me grow some muscle as well as lose some fat. Highly recommend this plan! It's all about the balance of shift life, nights out and eating/exercising well.

I am so glad I started ShiftandLift and really wish I started sooner! I cannot explain the difference it has made to my life in so many different aspects! My relationship with food is much better, not having to restrict food and still enjoy meals has been easy and help to change my poor eating habits (not eating enough then binging). I have huge anxiety going to the gym and having Rachel as my coach is like having a friend in your pocket. There is no question too silly and she has helped give me confidence to actually be a regular gym goer, something I never thought I would achieve, she is a real cheerleader. My mental health has also improved dramatically which means I am more present for my children and myself. I’m going to be sad when I make the decision to go it alone, but thanks to the knowledge the ShiftandLift team and Rachel have given me it’s given me the start i needed and otherwise wouldn’t have been able to achieve.

I've been doing shift and lift for about 5 months and it has changed my life. I've lost almost 2 stone which is something I never thought I would do!I used to struggle so much with my food. I used to over eat and binge and feel guilty after but that doesn't happen anymore. I still eat all the foods I enjoy like ice cream, chocolate and crisps but in moderation. I used to be a big snacker but eating the right things and more protein means I'm fuller for longer and don't spend my time eating because I'm bored. Laura has loads of recipes you can try out but the app also works great for inspiration if you want to do your own thing.I had some experience in the gym and Laura was able to tailor my plan to build on my knowledge and use the equipment I have to help grow my confidence. She is there every step of the way cheering you on. If you ever need anything changing or adapting Laura is always so responsive and makes quick changes to help you succeed. The videos are also great if you want to see how something should be done.The app is great and there is a fantastic community if you need advise or a pick me up.I've just tried the brand new live workout classes which have been great and coach Emily is also fantastic.I'm so much more confident and happy in myself which has intern helped improve my mental health. I've done shift and lift around working full time for the NHS doing shifts which hasn't stopped me at all.I signed up thinking let's give this 3 months so see how it goes. I'm still here not planning on stopping and have a whole new mindset to life. Would 100% recommend!

Laura is always on hand to help with any questions with the plan. it's really adaptable to life and shift work and doesn't feel like you're really restricted. The workouts are great and Laura is really supportive.

Shift and Lift is by far THE best coaching company out there! Laura is absolutely incredible, she makes the plans realistic, goals that you can actually hit. Laura will be your biggest cheerleader and she is by you side throughout your whole journey. Every week when I check in, she responds so quickly and the feedback is so helpful and I know she genuinely wants the best for absolutely everyone. I have been with other online coaches, who used generic apps, food plans that are impossible to make, workouts that aren't specific to you and who just don’t care about you. You will not find anyone else like Laura or her coaching company! She is always pushing you to do better, but in the best way and I am so grateful that she is so understanding and such an amazing coach! If you are thinking about joining Shift and Lift, this is your sign!!!

I’ve only been with Laura a few months now but already noticing a huge difference! From the very first phonecall to the regular check ins, everything has been amazing!The support that I have received when on a high and a low is the best, she encourages you to be your best and will make any changes to your plan that you are struggling with! Many trainers before haven’t listened or will just switch off if you don’t meet their goals, which very much makes you want to give up. Laura is the opposite, she works with you and makes changes if needed to help you work towards your goals.She has also taught me that scales don’t mean a thing, the changes that I have seen in myself (mental and physical) are huge for me and I couldn’t be more thankful to Laura! Can’t wait to continue working with her ☺️

I signed up to the Shift and Lift program in January 2023. I have never stuck to anything this long before and that’s all to do with the support from Laura. She would always check in and offer words of encouragement and quick to reply if I ever had any questions. I was a complete beginner in the gym, the thought of going would give me anxiety but I don’t feel that at all now. Laura’s program eased me into using the gym until I got used to it and because of this when my program got a bit more advanced I had the confidence to use other equipment.I have had a lot of personal things go on during my time on the programme and it has helped me cope. It’s definitely true that exercise and a good diet help when you are feeling low.If you are thinking about getting a online coach I would 100% recommend Sift and Lift! It’s changed my life for the better.

I’ve been with Laura for 7 weeks & the change has been amazing! I’d been struggling with doing any fitness due to a herniated disc in my neck for at least a year and my eating was never that great. Laura has taught me an incredible amount on eating. By concentrating on macros I really have managed to eat whatever I want. I’ve had nights out & meals out most weeks & have never felt bad sharing that with Laura as a coach! Being on a strict diet was never going to work for me. Her App is unreal, you would need to see it to understand how much work has gone into it.When it comes to workouts everything Laura gives you is built for exactly what you want out of your time with her. My goals were to be more toned and become stronger. We’re only 7 weeks in, working on phase 2 and I cannot wait to see the difference in my remaining time with her.

I’d heard great things about Laura and her Shift & Lift plan from a couple of colleagues and thought why not give it a go.. here I am 8 months later, and I can honestly say her plan and support has changed my life. It’s been incredible working with someone who understands nursing shift work. Laura has been nothing but supportive throughout my entire journey with her, I’ve built confidence, and love going to the gym! But most importantly my relationship with food has completely changed for the better. I’ve learned the importance of eating a balanced diet, and the fact nothing is off limits!I’ve hit 30 and I’m the fittest and healthiest I have ever been and it’s all thanks to Laura’s support and her incredible gym programme( which has made me strong ?)and huge collection of recipes. I cannot recommend Laura and Shift and Lift enough. It’s hard to put how grateful I am within a review- I’ve been given the tools and an incredible start to continue on my fitness journey.

I joined shift and lift a month ago after following Laura on Instagram and seeing the amazing results people were getting on the plan. I have always had an unhealthy relationship with food and have tried and failed at every diet thats on the market. The last few years I have put on a lot of weight. This was effecting energy and the way I felt was effecting my life. I was starting to decline invitations to go out. I knew I had to do something to change ,so I decided to build up the courage and contact Laura and her team and start my own journey.I was so nervous but from the initial contact I have had nothing but support and encouragement from Laura and her team.I am eating more calories than I ever have but now it's the right food I am eating and I already have so much more energy. I was very nervous when I stepped into the gym, but the workouts are really easy to follow and seeing myself already getting stronger is giving me the confidence to keep going and push myself.Although it's only been a month I can already see small changes in my body, but I know this is not a quick fix plan, it is a life style change and that's what I need. You get so much support from Laura and her team and I'm never scared to be honest and open with how the week has gone as I know I won't be judged. I would 100% recommend this plan to anyone.
