“Fully satisfied with the Summer house addition to our garden. Great value and good company to purchase from. We did have a defect in one of the perspex windows and Shires were easy to contact by phone and replaced panel after they simply requested a photo. In fact they sent it out twice since the delivery company damaged the first. No quibble.”

“Received the children's playhouse which is for a domestic abuse refuge for women & children escaping abusive partner. When the builder arrived to put it together, he noticed 2 of the panels were damaged and split, it was too late to do anything about it as the builder had been arranged, so he had to build it with the existing damage.”

“Fast delivery time. Attractive design. Some of the wood is very thin. Sone workmanship on installation very poor; screws at an angle in the hinges to the door on one side. Window catch on one side not properly aligned & neds adjusting to fasten . Also poorly lined up & looks amateurish.”

“Delighted with the overall appearance of this but getting the doors fitted has been really tricky. This was mostly because the door posts were warped and had been badly machined so the doors wouldn't hang straight. The supplied fittings for closing the doors were of really poor quality and the bar inside that links the handles is so short, you could lock yourself in. Consequently, putting this together has taken much longer than it should have and we will need to upgrade some parts.”

“Prompt informed delivery. Attractive addition to the garden. However, needed to buy a couple of extras to finish off construction...more roof felt, additional sealant for windows and roof and better quality nails.”

“I’m glad you sent me this form as i was going to contact you,as you can see in the pictures poor quality joints in the panels which i could live but the knots in the wood have not been sealed and are bleeding through,bearing in mind we have only had it a short period could you advise please.”

“The square frame support for joining the roof to the sides do not sit flush which made it difficult to align with sides. The finial and double ended screw is still missing from delivery.”

“The shed was a replica of one I had Delivery was good (I chose day) I painted all the panels before erection and the result looks great (only I know where I made mistakes!) Instructions fine. 2 men could do job in a long afternoon It took me a day and a half Very good price”

“I love my summer house, it would have been nice if you offered other cheaper options to get the base foundation done, because I could have then also chosen your builders to make the house. I think there should be more price range options available to customers so that they can also get the build done from yourselves. However I did get it built by another company and they did a great job in fixing it. The instructions manual was not good to follow, as was told to me by my three builders. They also said there were pieces that were not of the correct size, however the plus point is that you had provided extra timber in all shapes and sizes which helped them to cup those up and use them. They did complete the project in a day and I was happy for that Also they did not deliver in the time slot originally given and when they came I had no one at that time to help me to put the wood to my garden. They said they will be as supportive as possible on the phone, but they had done nothing and send only one guy to drop off the things and even though I was told they would let the people know who were coming, nothing was done about it. Infact to see only one guy was surprising and so really nothing was done to help me in such a predicament.”

“David the delivery driver was excellent Although the delivery did not come on the day as expected David did his upmost the morning after to call me and re-arrange delivery explaining he did not manage to deliver in time because of how many hours he was allowed to drive in a day. He was helpful and placed the playhouse where I asked him too. The building is lovely a bit difficult to assemble for amateur like us a print of the instructions in colour or slightly more detailed would have been better but we managed at the end”

“What was delivered is deferent to the pictures of this product on the web site, ie georgian syle windows and glass.What arrived was clear acrylic sheets. Casement window cutout in panel did not allow for the hinge thickness,ie to small' Casement stay lasted one day before the pins pulled out , very poor qaulity! Replaced Final not sent with kit,and no explantion why, reported this to your customer service, final arrived yesterday 13/08.”
