“I love my Shire CornerArbour. Staff at Shire were very helpful and delivery was excellent and timely. The arbour is of good quality material and is sturdy. Looks fab at night as my Landscape Gardening Team electrician fitted lights under the roof and seat. Many thanks. I. Brown North Tyneside”

“Company did everything they said it would. Wood seems in good order. Pity the screw holes arent piloted (hence 4* review). Assembly requires 2 people for most of the time. I think it requires anchoring.”

“Dreadful company. The delivery driver was rude and gave me a lecture about being an immigrant - he was moaning about his long hours etc. but perhaps more worryingly is the shoddy service provided. Parts were missing and weren't replaced until 5 months later! Poor quality wood, and incorrectly sized panels meaning the shed doesn't align correctly and the doors don't shut properly. Warped low quality wood - I took over 120 photos to prove but they still didn't care. Save yourself the upset and go to B & Q. Am an older lady and the service provided was dreadful. I spent hundreds of pounds trying to 'fix' the shed and keep it dry. Never again.”

“The first delivery was delayed by 2 weeks which was frustrating as i'd cleared my calender in order to receive and build the summerhouse. However, the second time around delivery occured with no issues; the driver was prompt, helpful, and helped me unload and transport some of the larger parts to the build site, which was appreciated. I constructed the summerhouse over the next week or so - instructions were easy enough to follow, though some elements could have been clearer and hence necessitated a bit of backtracking (e.g. matching the slats in the floor panels; and levelling the roof panels). Fortunately, there were sufficient extra pieces to allow for a few mistakes (though the allocation of these seemed random; fewer shorter panels were spare than longer ones). The two final roofing diamond pieces were missing (unless I misplaced them, which is entirely possible), but it was easy enough to fashio my own. It looks great now fully assembled and painted, and (so far!) has proven to be solid and resistent to the elements. I'm delighted with the finished product, and hence would recommend both product and company.”

“The shed itself is sturdy, good quality and was straightforward to construct, however the felt supplied for the roof was pretty low quality and ripped easily when attached to the roof. I ended up having to spend more money on quality felt. I also had immense frustration arranging delivery (my initial conversations with customer services got nowhere until I spoke to someone more senior(?)). My delivery date was postponed and I was only delivered the shed at the very last minute of my deadline. All in all, good shed, but allow more time than you need for delivery and prepare to upgrade the roof felt yourself.”

“Very pleased with our small summerhouse, perfect for our small garden, it gives us a much needed "extra room". We have been using it over the cold weather to be in our garden but we look forward to the summer when we shall probably spend time in it on most days.”
