“Pleased with purchase, good product & good quality especially for price paid during black Friday. We have had a couple of leaks which we have had to resolve, these are due to the batons not being adequate that cover the joins in the side panels of the shed.”

“I ordered a 12x6 shed when I started to put the roof on it was 2 inches short (3 osb boards supplied) and some of the fixtures and fittings were a bit low quality other than that im quite pleased with my purchase”

“When errecting Sun Hut it was obvious that there was a 1" gap with no cladding, shire said that was the design and so I had to fix the problem myself. The shed is great but has a 1" gap. Great design, well done shire NOT”

“My log store was delivered promptly and in perfect condition. It is strongly constructed with excellent quality timber and was easy to assemble from clear instructions. It is the largest capacity store which I could find at a reasonable price and I am delighted with my purchase ith excellent quality timber”

“The shed panels went together very well, however the door needed a lot of work. I needed to remove quite a bit of timber off the door threshold and top of the door. The window needed some work too. Now that things fit, I'm happy with it.”

“Right size 10'w x 15' L as ordered. The height of the shed was an issue so we built a platform base to add an extra 150cm for expected usage and taller people! Very helpful staff and the shed delivered to NW Scotland within a decent timeframe. The shed was fairly easy for 2 people to erect bar the floor which is a 3 man job to flip over.We reinforced the floor by 12mm marine ply to stabalise the MDF boards. The fabric of the walls is thin and flimsy with gaps between boards and some splintering of the wood. Roof was fairly easy to fit and once roof joists were on it felt a bit safer to go up there. We added marine ply to further weather proof the roof before adding the felt. We also used thin bracing strips to keep the felt on. Woodstain was used every step of the way. Windows - the 1mm perspex sheets buckled and one popped out in light winds - we purchased new 4mm sheets which now feel secure in strong winds and harsh weather. Immediately we clad the sides of the shed with sarking boards to help strengthen the whole structure and a couple of extra batons to the inside roof area and it now feels like a solid build!”

“We are very pleased with our new summerhouse, the only complaint is of the quality of the door and window hinges. They are a very poor quality, so we will probably have to change them for something stronger. Also two of the side panels did not fit well together and the installer had to cut extra pieces of wood to infill the small gap. We are now waiting for some warmer weather to enjoy it!”

“I purchased a greenhouse which is a lovely thing but the delivery set up was dreadful. It really spoiled the experience and Shire didn't seem to have a grip on what was happening. Other than that a lovely quality building, just better communication needed between Shire and the couriers used.”

“Our new sumerhouse was delivered on time and in good order. the delivery update message which allowed you to track the delivery timeslot worked relly well. the summerhouse went together well and was of good quality. Just waiting for the weather to pick up before painting our desired colour.”

“Delivery was interesting, just left the whole lot in a pile where I needed to assemble it! Had to move the whole lot from the prepared base first to enable to put it together. Parts not really labelled easily. A number/letter code would have helped that got cross referenced to the instructions (which were good). Signs of wood weathering before I even treated. Hinges/fixings do not match from summerhouse and attached shed (black and silver) Screws on shed fittings rusting already < 3months.”
