“Complained that the playhut leaked despite being treated with Cuprinol on the outside 3 times. I was told I needed to treat the inside. I did it ; times and it still leaked. Complained but didn’t get anywhere. Sealed it with sealant and seems ok now.”

“Now it is completed it is a good summerhouse but getting there was fraught. In all honesty you need to be a joiner to complete it.. I started off with a perfectly level foundation and the back wall finished plumb and square BUT the front, with the large opening made fitting the door particularly difficult. After hours of messing about the doors now open and close properly. The instructions need sorting out. I didn't find the pages with all the different pieces until I was half way through building it as they are a few pages in. They should be at the beginning so you can see how it goes together. I put the half wall logs in the sides and they should go at the front. This caused more problems fitting the doors. I ended up with a large amount of timbers over. I could have done the floor over again and I have about 10 roof timbers over plus about four full length wall logs. I would not recommend anyone buying one unless I knew they had good joinery skills. I am sure if I had to do another one I would do it in half the time. It took two persons 2 days”

“Poor quality with splits and cracks and even a lumpy bumpy post...couldn't believe it. They offered to give me sone preserve to cover the split lol. Customer service don't know what they are doing. Wouldn't recommend at all!”

“Delivery man very helpful in stashing the sections away in the garden. Building the shed was reasonably easy for 2 people. Wood sections mostly good. My biggest concern was the screws and tacks. Some screws were too long and some too short! I had to buy my own longer roofing tacks. But the shed is finished, job done!”

“I purchased the shire enmesh 9x12 when we came to build it pieces were missing called the company twice and emailed got no response whatsoever the building is flimsy and has inadequate support we have had to add that ourselves also the fachias were missing we are still trying to complete the build we have hired a fully qualified carpenter and he said very very poor quality would definitely not recommend this to anybody nor the company as do not respond when you call or email worst service I have had ever”

“Really pleased with my potting shed quick delivery easy to install purchased to protect my tropical plants in winter I have sprayed with wood protection in and out so hopefully will last also two extra window glass in case of accidents but not needed so happy with my purchase.”

“Firstly I’d like to say that the delivery driver was the best part of this Shire Garden Building. He had an issue with his delivery vehicle but contacted us and managed to repair it to make the delivery! Unfortunately the garden building has some components that were made incorrectly and we have had to rectify. Build quality is below average.”

“The delivery was terrible. The guy dumped every piece of wood loose on my driveway. No covering, just left it. He could not have cared less. There are no pre-drilled holes in the wood. quality is so-so. Not impressed at all. Poor sums it up.”

Hello Caroline, We are sorry you are disappointed with the quality and delivery experience. We booked delivery with you for a mutually convenient day, we provided a delivery window and a tracking tracking link. It was a shame that you were not present when delivery took place other wise the driver would have known where to put the building. Our garden building are supplied with a base layer of treatment which protects the building for a short period of time which is why we don't leave you with packaging. We don't specify that we do provide pre-drilled holes as it is industry standard not to pre-drill holes, Should your require further assistant please don't hesitate to get in touch.
